Beata was an amazing guide. We booked a 3 hour your way tour and it was perfect. She listened to our wants and tailored everything to our needs. Book Beata as a guide! That's the summary. The long version is: we have been to Hungary and Budapest already a few times so, we know the classic stuff. And Beata added nice local hidden gems to the tour, looked for less obvious stuff - even if it was a detour. She really personalised our experience to our interests and wishes, which we appreciated very much. During the tour she told about many different topics and we immediately had a good connection and laughed a lot. In short, the perfect guide. Splendid foodtour evening!

It was wonderful being hosted for the day by Beata. She was a delight and full of interesting information on a range of topics relating to the city and the country. We walked to the various locations then travelled by tram and the Metro, which was impressive. Later we enjoyed a delicious lunch in an established, authentic Hungarian restaurant that I would never have found, where the service was professional and friendly. The price was extremely reasonable. Our tour was, without doubt, the highlight of my short trip and a very happy memory. I was so sorry our time had to end! Don’t hesitate- just book this! A treat. AMAZING!

We just had the pleasure of taking a food tour in Budapest with Beata, and it was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, Beata was a warm and engaging guide who made the experience both informative and fun. Her passion for Budapest’s culinary heritage really shone through as she shared fascinating stories about the city’s dining traditions and history. Our adventure began at the iconic Central Market Hall, where we indulged in some of the best traditional Hungarian dishes. The Goulash soup was the perfect start – rich, flavorful, and comforting. We sampled salami, fresh from the market, before making our way through the streets to taste other local delicacies, including mouth-watering sausage, crispy langos and delightful chocolate treats. We ended our tour with chimney cake, which was a sweet, satisfying way to wrap up the day. Along the way, Beata shared stories about the food, the neighborhoods, and the history of Budapest, making it feel less like a tour and more like an immersive experience. We ended in the vibrant Szimpla Kert, where we could feel the heartbeat of the city – the perfect spot to reflect on the flavors and sights we had just enjoyed.
