Kia ora ( Hi ), I have loved living in Christchurch for the past 20 years but before that I travelled and worked all over the world as an English language teacher and a tour guide. My ancestors are Ngā Mahanga, a small Māori tribe and I am passionate about our culture and sharing our wonderful city. I would love to show you our amazing art, music, food, wine and beer! Keryn’s knowledge of Christchurch can only come from living through the hardships borne from the not so recent earthquake. Still recovering, the city comes alive with her stories of its founding and the tribulations she and her family experienced during and after the earthquake. Always book a "With Locals" introductory 2 hour tour when in a new city. Thus we booked Keryn who was on time and showed us some great spots in the centre of the city, was extremely knowledgeable and, based on our interests, suggested the places to explore in more depth the next day as well as some dining tips. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and our time with her. A worthwhile experience and to be recommended.A cool walk round Christchurch

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 hours walk with Keryn! She is very knowledgeable on everything about Christchurch, learned so much and got a lot of tips on sightseeing and food spot that we can go back and explore! My friend and I enjoyed our three hour guided walk with Keryn through Christchurch. Her timing was exceptional and she spoke with reverence and excitement about the places we visited. We can highly recommend Keryn as a guide for individuals who are perhaps enjoying Christchurch for the first time or for another more in-depth tour than they’ve experienced in the past. We very much enjoyed our tasting tour of the city with Keryn. We sampled local delicacies at the Riverside Market before hitting a hidden gem for craft beer and then finished off with a memorable flight of local wines and cheeses on the former campus Canterbury College. In addition to sourcing some delicious food and drinks, Keryn shared her knowledge of the city and stories from her own travels, culinary and otherwise. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the flavours of Christchurch.An excellent taste of Christchurch
