I'm Lars :) and I'd like to invite you to experience "la meva Barcelona" – my Barcelona!

Since moving here almost 3 years ago, I've done all of the hard work for you: the awkward conversations, committing every "faux pas" you can imagine, and slowly but surely getting beyond the surface and to the core of the true and authentic Barcelona. I have had the great pleasure of meeting some amazing people and learning about their stories – and I want to share all of this with you!

I've learned to speak Spanish and Catalan fluently which has facilitated lots of beautiful friendships with local people of all walks of life. As a musician, I've connected with many fellows artists and patrons of the arts here in my neighborhood of Gràcia – most recently I've become the secretary of a local pianist who comes from a long line of painters and architects!

Lars is a great child and adult friendly guide who is warmly welcoming you and finding a perfect mixture of information and stories about the city & tradition and friendship customizing his tour completely to your needs. He was even sending us tipps about many things like markets, ongoing events, public transports and recommendable restaurants for locals before and after our tour. The Gaudi walking tour I went on was wonderful! Our guide, Lars, was super knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He took us to excellent spots and the group was small, which led to awesome conversations about the architecture, Barcelona, and life! It was an amazing experience to go in this walking tour in the Gothic region! The guide Lars is extremely smart, gentle and fun. He knows a lot about Barcelona’s history and gave us many tips about what to do in town, including nice restaurants and bars. Highly recommended! 😍Highly recommended

I did a free walking gothic walking tour with Lars and he was very prepared and knows the city well! Also he gave great recommendations for drinks and food!! i definitely recommend it ;)great experience!

Lars was an amazing tour guide! I learnt so much about the history of Barcelona from him and had a great time walking through and exploring streets I probably never would have found myself. I want to thank Lars for giving one of the best guided tours i’ve ever went to. Detailed explanations, a mix between historical and curious facts about Barcelona. Learned a lot!! I have always been interested in the the history and culture of the places which I'm visiting.
