Livia was very knowledgeable and had great demeanor with our teenage kids. She helped us navigate the Louvre in a relaxed but thorough manner, making sure we had a good grasp of the museum’s highlights. Our kids had a great time and learned a lot, and so did we. Thanks Livia!Fantastic tour for families with kids
Livia clearly loves Paris. She walked us throughout the Marais, full of stories and insights. She kept coming back to the idea that we need to learn from history and not erase it. She pointed out many opportunities where Paris could have erased it, but instead chose to keep it for all to see and learn from. Her natural curiosity and personality made for a wonderful walk. Next time we are in Paris, we will schedule another tour with her. Knowledgable and curious and listener
quite in Really aamteresting tour, Livia showed us some places which we wouldn't find otherwise. Really amazing
Livia was knowledgeable of the area and gave us insightful background and history of the Marais area and the food. We had croissants, macarons and several pastries. The croissant was the best we’d ever had! Good food and great history
Livia is a wonderful tour guide. She is knowledgeable and filled our tour with interesting human interest stories as well as landmarks and history. Livia was sensitive to what we wanted and tailored the tour to our specific interests. I would definitely recommend her. She brought the Marais alive for us. Wonderful tour of the Marais
A lovely couple of hours spent with Livia.
Nothing heavy, just a nice guided stroll through Montmartre.
Livia is lovely to spend time with.An easy wander through Montmartre
My family of five, which included three young adults, visited the Louvre right before the Olympics. Unfortunately, they only had one entrance opened for security reasons. Livia met us outside and guided us through the long line to get in. We were scheduled for a two hour tour, but the time to get in took up a chunk of that time. Livia did not even hesitate when I asked her about that. She gave us the full 2 hours and even a bit more of her time.
The Louvre is huge and getting around, even for a seasoned traveler is challenging. Of course we wanted to see the Mona Lisa, but with Livia, we were able to see so much more. She really helped us understand the history of the Louvre, as well as understand the big show items. She had a great pace with fun facts and found places where we could sit for a quick minute.
I thought the fee was extremely fair for the tour. Livia, as well as the other guides, have to go through a rigorous training in order to become a guide. It was a 10 out of 10.
When we were done, she showed us where to get a bite to eat. (There was a lovely café with an outdoor terrace overlooking the pyramid. Prices were typical of museum cafés. Well worth it considering the view!)
After our lunch we wanted to explore another part of the museum. I am not exaggerating when I say it took us 25 minutes just to find the exhibit and that was following the map as well as asking for directions!
Do not hesitate to get a guide, you will not be sorry!Louvre with an expert....totally worth it!
We had the best time on our WithLocals tour with Livia around Montmartre! This was such a wonderful way to experience a new area of the city and get the best recommendations and history of the area. We had my 90+ year old grandparents with us, and having the ability to be flexible and move the tour at our own pace was amazing. Overall, a truly fantastic experience that created many lasting memories!New favorite way to do a tour!
we started our first day in Paris with this walk, and it ended up being such a lovely personal Parisian experience. Livia was a warm wonderful storyteller and we felt like we've known her a long time and met a friend in Paris. not to mention she went out of her way to accomodate us, which we will always remember!Lovely experience
