We had a lovely walking tour of Montmartre with Olivia on a blustery September day. She was warm and genuine, very easy to talk to and full of information about the neighborhood including history and tips on places to eat, hear live music, get good coffee, etc. She showed us some of the major sights of the neighborhood including the house where Van Gogh lived, the Bateau Lavoir where Picasso had a studio, the beautiful 12th century church Saint-Pierre de Montmartre, and of course Sacré Coeur. We also stopped for a sweet treat and later for a coffee and conversation, and by the end of the tour we were sorry to say goodbye. Montmartre Walking Tour

Spending time with Olive learning more deeply about the neighborhood's agrarian history, architecture, and artistic significance was an absolute delight! As we strolled and talked, she adapted her tour to our specific interests, pointing out shops, cinemas, and locations where we might want to return. Although my husband and I had been in the area before, Olivia's in-depth knowledge made the neighborhood come alive in ways it hadn't as tourists on our own. Marvelous Montmartre!

If you are a jazz lover...and even a blues lover this tour is a MUST book experience. My husband and I were not sure what to expect- and this tour exceeded our expectations. We were taken into some of the most interesting venues and we listened to incredible music. Olivia was a delight and added a certain "je ne sais quoi" to the evening. We were especially impressed with her ability to help make our experience more interesting. Book this tour! The one on one experience was especially wonderful. There is nothing like Parisian Jazz! Olivia was one of the best guides we have had, on a number of tours with different companies in European countries. She was prepared, extremely knowledgeable, insightful about the history and culture of her adopted hometown. She tweaked the tour to add in a stop for us, and included some info throughout about overlooked history such as women's accomplishments and stories. Highly recommend!Outstanding!
