One of the greatest joys in life is the opportunity to connect with people from different backgrounds, to explore new countries, and to immerse oneself in diverse cultures.

I am fortunate to have a rich and varied heritage—half from Hanoi, a quarter from Ninh Binh, and a quarter from Hoi An. Growing up amidst such diverse cultural influences in Vietnam, I was surrounded by fascinating stories shared by my grandparents and parents about our country’s history, culture, traditional food, and way of life. These stories sparked a deep curiosity in me, and I became an avid reader, always eager to learn more.

Traveling has always been one of my greatest passions. As I grew older, I had the chance to explore many parts of Vietnam, as well as travel across Southeast Asia and Western Europe. I am deeply proud of the beauty of my country and love to share it with others. My experiences abroad have also given me a new perspective, allowing me to see the contrasts between Eastern and Western cultures, which has only deepened my admiration for the unique beauty of each place. Above all, I have developed a profound respect for cultural diversity and a commitment to preserving and celebrating my own heritage.

Though I once started a local business to support rural women and children in need—a venture that didn’t ultimately succeed—I was then introduced to Withlocal. We were travelling with our daughter and this was a great way to dive in to Hanoi and its somewhat chaotic traffic, we saw some corners we would definitely not have found on our own and really appreciated the absence of souvenir shops or attempts to sale anything else. The time passed quickly and was definitely worth it, thanks Loan!😀Enjoyful tour at a leisurely pace

Loan give us a perfect impression of Hanoi in just a few hours. My friend (first timer in Vietnam) and myself (a regular) both enjoyed her professional tour done in a super friendly way.
