Hello, everybody! My name is Lay Long! And I have been living in Siem Reap since I was young! It is almost more than twenty years.

I love making new friends with other people from different parts of the world! Moreover, meeting and learning from new people really deserve me! Hence, being a host or a tour guide is the best way for me to open up the opportunity to meet and welcome you all to my country.

In addition, I have become a tour guide and have been guiding guests for about three years. Siem Reap is always the most amazing place for most travellers who love learning about ancient ruins, culture, historical/heritage sites and nature! I know many beautiful places in my country, especially my Siem Reap city. I have studied about the history of my country, culture, traditions, historical sites, architecture, and ancient temples. I would recommend Siem Reap to you if you are the ones who are keen on learning about history and architecture of ancient temples! Waking up early in the morning to enjoy sunrise at Angkor Wat temple, going sightseeing in the afternoon and refreshing your feeling with the most gorgeous views of sunset on tops of mountains are the most beautiful things I usually do!

Besides the above mentioned heritage places, Siem Reap also has many stunning community-based tourist (CBT) and eco-tourist regions or spots such as Kampong Pluk, Kampong Kleang and Mey Chrey floating villages/communities, Pea Reang Bird's Sanctuary and Kulen National Park!

Last but not the least, there are two famous places for foreigners to have their dinner. Pub Street is one of the best place in my city and it is the most famous spot in the whole country for its richness of mini bars, pubs, discotheques, food and drink! And it is also the best place where most European/American people like gathering around with their friends with nice meals at midday and it always works best in the evening!

And the second popular place to eat in the evening where you can discover our real Khmer cuisine or tastings is 60 Road Market, the most beautiful and longest street market in our city.

Long was our guide for a tour of the floating village, the lake and local market. He was a superb guide, one of the very best we experienced during our trip. Long is the man! He is VERY knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. He told us the history of the different temples and was patient when we asked questions. Since he is a former school teacher, you can really tell he has a passion for teaching. In the morning, Long met us at our hotel on time and knew the best spot for seeing the sunrise at Angkor Wat. Throughout the tour, he took great pics of us in scenic spots and his tuk tuk driver always had cold water available. He was a pleasure to talk to when traveling between temples and we learned about Cambodia and its more recent history. He gave us many good restaurants to try and even a recommendation for a private driver to Phnom Penh. Overall, we highly recommend Long for your next tour in Siem Reap!Great Tour Experience with Long

We had a great day with Long at the Angkor Wat temples and during the sunrise tour. He gave us new insights into the temples by explaining the history and importance and was very kind and considerate along the way. Long knew all the great spots to take photos and offered to make plenty of them. He also gave great insight into modern day Cambodia and how the locals live by talking about his own experiences. Communication was easy through WhatsApp and he was on time on both days we were going on a trip with him. The tuktuk was also great, they always had cold water waiting for us whenever we left the temples (it was needed, it was very hot). I would definitely recommend going on a trip with Long! :) Lovely days at the temples with Long

Long was really friendly and welcoming. Started early with a tuk tuk ride to Angkor Wat - day was cloudy so we didn’t see the sun rise but the visit was excellent. Long was super knowledgable and welcoming and we learned so much history from our visits to all three temples. Definitely recommend.Super interesting day visiting temples

We had the best experience of Angkor Wat solely because of our tour guide, Long. He is extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of not only Angkor Wat but also Siem Reap. He was very accommodating with our schedule and made sure we were able to see all the temples we requested and more. He took us to all the best picture spots and even took better pictures of us than we did! I would highly recommend EVERYONE visiting Angkor Wat/ Siem Reap to use Long as their tour guide. Hands down the best experience of Angkor Wat! Best tour guide

Long was so kind and very informative! He showed me the Old Market and some of the Pagodas in Siem Reap. He made sure I had enough water and that we had a break for a bit so I was comfortable. Overall such a great tour and would definitely recommend!Wonderful!

I had a great tour of Siem Reap with Long. He was great about getting in touch early and shared so many interesting insights as we walked around the city. My focus was history and culture, so we visited two pagodas, walked along the waterfront, and he even guided me in making a small offering at a local shrine. A very special introduction to this historic city!Great Tour with Long!
