Hello, everybody! My name is Lay Long! And I have been living in Siem Reap since I was young! It is almost more than twenty years.

I love making new friends with other people from different parts of the world! Moreover, meeting and learning from new people really deserve me! Hence, being a host or a tour guide is the best way for me to open up the opportunity to meet and welcome you all to my country.

In addition, I have become a tour guide and have been guiding guests for about six years. Siem Reap is always the most amazing place for most travellers who love learning about ancient ruins, culture, historical/heritage sites and nature! I know many beautiful places in my country, especially my Siem Reap city. I have studied about the history of my country, culture, traditions, historical sites, architecture, and ancient temples. I would recommend Siem Reap to you if you are the ones who are keen on learning about history and architecture of ancient temples! Waking up early in the morning to enjoy sunrise at Angkor Wat temple, going sightseeing in the afternoon and refreshing your feeling with the most gorgeous views of sunset on tops of mountains are the most beautiful things I usually do!

Besides the above mentioned heritage places, Siem Reap also has many stunning community-based tourist (CBT) and eco-tourist regions or spots such as Kampong Pluk, Kampong Kleang and Mey Chrey floating villages/communities, Pea Reang Bird's Sanctuary and Kulen National Park!

Last but not the least, there are two famous places for foreigners to have their dinner. Pub Street is one of the best place in my city and it is the most famous spot in the whole country for its richness of mini bars, pubs, discotheques, food and drink! And it is also the best place where most European/American people like gathering around with their friends with nice meals at midday and it always works best in the evening!

And the second popular place to eat in the evening where you can discover our real Khmer cuisine or tastings is 60 Road Market, the most beautiful and longest street market in our city.

Mr Long provided more details after booking and checked that we had purchased our tickets and that we knew what to wear. Mr Long was on time and the tuk-tuk driver provided cold water throughout the day. Every question we had, Mr Long provided answers to. He knew the history and the stories of all 3 temples that we visited - Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon Temple. Lunch was at a local restaurant with air con, toilets and good food. It was nice to have a break from the heat and all those steps! Would I book another tour with Mr Long? Definitely!! Thanks Mr Long for a great day! Amazing day

We had an absolutely wonderful guided tour of Angkor Wat with Long. From the very beginning, communication was excellent – quick, clear, and very flexible in arranging everything. During the tour, Long was incredibly kind, perfectly prepared, and shared a wealth of historical facts and cultural insights that brought the temples to life. He also respected all our wishes, tailoring the experience exactly to what we wanted. The tuk tuk driver was also excellent, making the journey comfortable and smooth. On top of that, Long is a talented photographer – he captured some truly amazing moments for us along the way. Lay Long is an amazing guide and wonderful person. I am so glad we choose him to be our guide. We are 3 septuagenarians, and he looked after us as if we were his parents/grandparents, always looking out for our safety. He knowledge of Angkor Wat is amazing. He also gave us a wonderful overview of Siem Reap and the history of Cambodia. He went beyond what we expected from a tour guide, Thank you, Mr Lay Long. We had a fantastic tastings tour with Long. Whilst it looked like the weather may put a dampener on the walking tour with storm and torrential rain, Long messaged us early with the option of taking a Tuk-tuk. Rain held off enough that we managed the whole tour with out getting wet. Food was amazing and it was good to see areas that are not normally frequented by tourists.Ten out of Ten

We really enjoyed your Street food tour and the great things we tasted! And we absolutely enjoyed having Long as our guide, his amazing knowledge about the food, Siam Reap and Cambodian history in general makes him someone you would want to spend more time with, as he embodies Cambodian hospitality and friendliness. I am sure any local experience with Long would be amazing ... We are quite curious travellers and had already visited several local eating places (restaurant would be too fancy a word), but it was cool to have someone take us really off the track, in particular on the street food market. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes and variety we experienced. Long even helped our kids find fried crickets and look for a tarantula, even if this was not part of the tour. Totally amazing and recommendable.Amazing guide and amazing local Cuisine

We had a great food tasting tour with Long. He is a wealth of informatiobn bringing us to a myriad of places to sample the local cuisine... we found the experience authentic, educational and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend bringing a good appetite! Would go again. Really enjoyed this Taste of Siem Reap!

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour with Long. He was very accommodating and made very good recommendations about the food choice that’s on our tour. We tried a couple of areas near the touristy areas of Siem Reap, but the highlight was driving out of the city to the more local markets. The food was amazing and the people were even more amazing. I highly recommend you book with Long. Great tour, great food and great host.
