My name is Lorena — a Brazilian who fell in love with Turkey.

The first time I came to Istanbul was ten years ago, and since then, this city has never really let me go. I’ve been living in Istanbul and around Turkey for the past seven years, and today, I truly feel a part of this place.

After traveling and living in different parts of the world, I realized how much having a local connection can completely transform your experience. That’s exactly what I’d love to be for you — someone who helps you discover not just the famous landmarks, but also the real soul of the city.

I now split my time between Istanbul and Rome — two incredible cities that share layers of history, culture, and flavor. Both are full of hidden gems, authentic traditions, and unforgettable food — and sharing them with others has become one of my greatest passions.

Lorena è stata fantastica, ha accompagnato la nostra famiglia nella conoscenza ed esplorazione dei sapori e del cibo tipico di Istanbul. Ha tanta passione ed è molto professionale, ho molte allergie ed è stata estremamente attenta! Abbiamo amato la scelta dei posti dove fare gli assaggi, tutti locali con una storia , una tradizione . 5 STAR ⭐️ for the most amazing tour guide Lorena!!! What an outstanding way to start my solo travel trip to Istanbul. I spent 2 days touring Istanbul with Lorena and she is one of the most personable and informative guides I have ever met. She knows how to navigate her way through this city like a pro. Lorena let me move at my own pace, I didn’t feel rushed at all. She left me a list of recommendations on things to do next after our tour, taught me about the metro and made great suggestions for food etc. Had I tried on my own, I would have missed out! We booked Lorena at the last minute—with just one day's notice—but still had a fantastic experience! She quickly got a sense of who we were and what our interests were. Despite the unique situation of it being a religious holiday in Turkey (Eid al-Adha), when many shops and restaurants were closed, Lorena remained calm and professional. She adapted seamlessly, showing us some of the city's cultural and heritage highlights instead of the planned culinary stops that were unavailable. Even after the tour, Lorena continued to add value by recommending some of her favorite local restaurants. Thank you, Lorena!Lorena Serena!

Decidimos fazer o tour gastronômico em Kadikoy porque queríamos sair do circuito turístico da cidade. E a Lorena, além de nos apresentar várias opções gastronômicas diferentes nos mostrou um lado da cidade que só quem mora em Istanbul conhece. Foi uma tarde muito agradável e especial! Food tour maravilhoso, em um bairro onde os locais residem e fazem suas compras. Lorena foi essencial para o sucesso do tour pois nos levou em lugares que ela, como moradora de Isrambul, frequenta e realiza as suas compras de mercado. Sentimos que estávamos vivendo realmente a experiência de um local. Além disso, Lorena é extremamente simpática , sabe muito sobre a culinária e cultura turca , além de nos dar várias indicações de locais onde poderíamos ter experiências do cotidiano de um morador de Istambul. Ficamos com vontade de voltar a Turquia e tê-la novamente como guia. Destaco também o conforto que é fazer um tour na nossa língua natal, numa terra em que a língua e os costumes são muitos diferentes dos nossos.Muito além do turismo!

Lorena is very gentle, she knows Istanbul very well and will suggest off touristic roads itineraries that really are worth the price. You will experience the real Istanbul and save a lot of time, off the tourists traps. So very advisable! She is more that fluent in Italian and English, and has an International background, having lived in many countries. TOP.10/10 very advisable

Second visit to istanbul and we hadn’t realised how much was still to explore! Met in an area we hadn’t been before and was gorgeous - went to places we never would have discovered which were lovely and ate some incredible foods. Would def recommend:)Great food tour!
