I'm living between Istanbul and Roma, and I'm fascinated about those cities,booths that one day was Rome, are full of history, a wide range in the cuisine to be trying and incredible hidden gems spots. Many thanks to Lorena for the amazing food tour! We had actually tried a decent amount of local food before meeting up with her so she created a totally custom adventure for us. She walked us through neighborhoods and back streets that were almost tourist free. We left the tour feeling like we really got to see and experience food and restaurants that were not the mainstream. We were so full too! Thank you Lorena!Custom food tour away from the tourists

We really enjoyed the tour with Lorena! She is an experienced traveller who lives in Istanbul and knows a lot about the city. She cooperates with local businesses - we really appreciated that and we enjoyed the delicious food we got to try! Unfortunately, the tour is really really expensive for what you get and you have to decide as a group to either eat vegetarian or meat at some places - it is not possible to combine both (e.g. order two different dishes) if only some people from your group are vegetarian.Tasty Istanbul!

Lorena was an absolutely fantastic tour guide. She turned a rained day for eleven jet-lagged people into a fun and unique experience walking through the Kadiköy neighborhood. We sampled a lot of different foods and drinks in the this beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommend booking with Lorena for any tours during your stay in Istanbul. A Great Day And Unique Experience

Had an absolutely amazing time with Lorena on our food tour! Our group was 4 people from the United States, and it was one of the highlights of our whole trip to Turkey. She took us to ten different spots and we really got a feel for the whole neighborhood. Exploring the lovely neighbourhoods of Istanbul and the Princes islands, with Lorena was brilliant experience. She is easygoing and friendly, which worked perfectly for a single female traveler like me. She also brings in that outside in perspective, to the experience, considering she’s from Brazil. She has an uncanny ability of quickly knowing the likes/interests of a traveler, and is able to personalise the experience accordingly. She has good knowledge of the city, right from the historical perspective, to the culturally relevant parts, the hidden gems and always has great recommendations for restaurants, local food spots and other experiences. Lorena was a pleasure. We covered so much of the city in one day. Explored different t neighborhoods and enjoyed many different local delicacies. Didn’t feel rushed and walked a ton. Overall a great experience. Amazing day!

We had an incredible experience on this Turkish local food tour! Lorena was exceptionally knowledgable, not only about the delicious food we sampled but also about Turkish culture, history and traditions. She went above and beyond to answer all our questions even those that were outside the scope of the food tour, which made the experience even more enriching. Her passion and deep understanding of Turkish cuisine and culture truly shone through. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an authentic insight to Istanbul! Turkish Delight!

Lorena is a great guide. She takes care of you before, during and after the tour. She was very accommodating to for instance our dietary restrictions. She’s an interesting person, fun to be around, and knowledgeable. The tour is a great way to see places you wouldn’t have gone to, and eat things you would have missed as a tourist. Can highly recommend!
