I was born in South-Italy, but Venice is the city that I chose to be my home. When I came here the first time I was astonished by its uniqueness, and I never felt that way for any other city. I'm a sommelier and I love cooking, plus I'm a portrait and food photographer. On my free time I like to try new restaurants (I'll tell you my favourite ones!), watch movies (did you know that here we have the oldest film festival in the world?) and to play guitar. We recently had a wonderful evening tour with Loris. We arrived in Venice in the late afternoon and were only to be in Venice for one day afterward, so we wanted to combine a sightseeing tour with a local food tasting tour for the evening of the day of our arrival. Coordinating such a tour with Loris was seamless- he was easy to communicate with and developed a customized tour just for us. We enjoyed cicchetti and a lovely spritz, mozzarella in carrozza, Venetian hot chocolate, salami and various cheeses (drunken cheese was my favorite), and a cannelloni tasting. All were delicious and tailored to our food preferences. We walked at a relaxed pace through the many neighborhoods of Venice, seeing both the highlights and hidden gems of each. Throughout, Loris explained their historical significance in great detail. Our favorite places are too many to list, but most are the hidden gems we would have never found or seen on our own. We topped off the evening with gelato (the best I’ve ever tasted), at my husband's request. Throughout, Loris was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and had a great sense of humor. He answered our many questions with ease. If we are fortunate enough to return to Venice, we will definitely be contacting Loris again. This tour was the highlight of our visit! Loris was a lovely tour guide. Venice is a very busy place, overrun in many places with tourists. Loris took us on a very interesting walk, visiting places we never would have seen otherwise - in areas where there were no tourists! Highly recommend. Especially at the beginning of your visit to Venice so you can find places to revisit later in your stay.Very Enjoyable

Knows his way around and well liked by all we came across, which is a great sign. Endless patience with our questions - and we came away with a new friend. Knows food, drink, art, history - everything. Outstanding! Thank you! Loris is worth every penny. But confusion over pricing for 2, not 4, left a bad taste, and it is just too expensive overall. My wife and I took the tour with Loris. Loris was very good and can’t recommend him enough. He is knowledgable, helpful and easy to be with. The food side of the tour was interesting, Loris wanted us to experience several types of good quality local bites combined with a circuit around interesting sites and facts of Venice. Unfortunately the order in which the food was sampled didn’t really work for us, gelato, then chocolate, followed by fried seafood for example… Okay if you have a cast iron stomach. Loris explained that the order of seeing the parts of Venice dictated the order of the food. Hence why we scored 8/10, not 10/10. Walking tour with food stops

My tour around Venice with Loris was great! He was very knowledgable and provided us with lots of interesting facts about Venice. The food was amazing!! He showed us many different popular dishes in Venice and I enjoyed them all. I wish I had gotten to try more cicchetti but other than that, no complaints! Great tour!

Loris provided a fantastic overview of Venice in three hours. We walked almost 20,000 steps with a lot of history and fun facts about the city. Loris was super helpful even before the trip on giving tips where to get delicious lunch / Cicchetti and how to get gondola without dealing with 10,000 tourists. Overall it was an enjoyable day with Loris and I would recommend him as fun, friendly, and accommodating tour guide to anyone. Great intro to Venezia
