I was born in South-Italy, but Venice is the city that I chose to be my home. When I came here the first time I was astonished by its uniqueness, and I never felt that way for any other city. I'm a sommelier and I love cooking, plus I'm a portrait and food photographer. On my free time I like to try new restaurants (I'll tell you my favourite ones!), watch movies (did you know that here we have the oldest film festival in the world?) and to play guitar. My husband and I recently did a walking tour with Loris in Venice and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. We customized one of his available photography tours to focus less on photography and add more walking and food and wine. We had a fantastic time with Loris who was so kind and knowledgeable about Venice. As a trained sommelier, he also did a great job explaining the local wines we tried. We really felt like we got a local perspective on Venice and got to visit places that are not in all the guide books. It felt like being shown around the city by a good friend. Since our tour was so recent, we still have not received copies of the photos Loris took but he suggested some fun and scenic locations for pictures and did a great job directing us and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We highly recommend booking a tour with Loris! Highly recommend a tour with Loris!

Loris is a very knowledgeable and thoughtful guide! We spent two half days together and everything was just as you would want it to be. This was our second time to Venice and with Loris we learned more and saw more of this glorious city than we did on our previous trip 14 years ago. So grateful for our time together. We did a custom tour our first day which included having Loris take pictures of us since he is a photographer as well! Can’t wait to see our pictures when we get home from our trip! Thank you Loris for taking such good care of us! Loved both Loris and Venice!

There were 4 of us and we all really enjoyed our meandering tour of the quieter side of Venice and discovering different foods. Loris was very engaging and knowledgeable. He told us a lot about the different neighborhoods. Great food tour

You haven’t seen Venice until you’ve seen it with Loris! What an amazing guide. He took us to places we would have never found. Rather than just highlighting tourist locations, Loris let us feel like a local as he showed us his favorite places. He was never in a rush. In fact, he spent more time with us than he should have! We began with a visit to Mazzarbo, followed by Burano and Murano. Loris gave us so much local history of Venice and the surrounding lagoons. After learning about the fascinating lace-making history of Burano, we had a leisurely lunch with delicious food, wine, and dessert before moving on to Murano where we were treated to a front-row view of one of the island's highly esteemed glassblowers crafting a custom order of drinking glasses. The private tour with Loris was the highlight of our trip to Venice and we highly recommend him!Wonderful day trip with Loris!

We recently had a wonderful evening tour with Loris. We arrived in Venice in the late afternoon and were only to be in Venice for one day afterward, so we wanted to combine a sightseeing tour with a local food tasting tour for the evening of the day of our arrival. Coordinating such a tour with Loris was seamless- he was easy to communicate with and developed a customized tour just for us. We enjoyed cicchetti and a lovely spritz, mozzarella in carrozza, Venetian hot chocolate, salami and various cheeses (drunken cheese was my favorite), and a cannelloni tasting. All were delicious and tailored to our food preferences. We walked at a relaxed pace through the many neighborhoods of Venice, seeing both the highlights and hidden gems of each. Throughout, Loris explained their historical significance in great detail. Our favorite places are too many to list, but most are the hidden gems we would have never found or seen on our own. We topped off the evening with gelato (the best I’ve ever tasted), at my husband's request. Throughout, Loris was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and had a great sense of humor. He answered our many questions with ease. If we are fortunate enough to return to Venice, we will definitely be contacting Loris again. This tour was the highlight of our visit! Loris was a lovely tour guide. Venice is a very busy place, overrun in many places with tourists. Loris took us on a very interesting walk, visiting places we never would have seen otherwise - in areas where there were no tourists! Highly recommend. Especially at the beginning of your visit to Venice so you can find places to revisit later in your stay.Very Enjoyable
