Luca was a great guide who really took us through the historical sites while providing current political context around each of the streets and neighborhoods we visited. Additionally, he pointed out the cool stores, bars and cafes were musts and took us to get the best (and coolest) spot for canolli! Local History With Canolli!

Luca tailored a thoughtful tour for me in the city of Palermo. He was courteous, prompt and very knowledgeable. It was great to have a guide who grew up in this colorful and storied place who lovingly and critically spoke about the past, present and future of each landmark and noteable place that we walked. He also gave me a great sense of the local flavors and when we stopped for fresh juice in the market and pastry at the convent! Luca is kind, professional and smart. I am so glad I was able to book him and learn about his city.Memorable experience

We arrived from a 9hr flight from New Jersey to Sicily and hit the ground running with a tasting walking tour. Luca was amazing, starting at one of the oldest and most famous food markets, he tailored the trip to our liking and meandered through the streets and hitting then major parts of the city. We ended up walking all over the city (so be ready for that) and he pointed out other places he has lived and enjoys to socialize at. Luca was a true local and enjoyed showing us his city. We had the best tour with Luca. He was very knowledgeable about Palermo and it’s food scene. He is also a great guy. The food was incredible. My wife is pescatarian and he planned it so that she always had non-meat options. I’d highly recommend doing a food tour with Luca!Fantastic Experience

Luca was great. I scheduled a street food tour months ago and the guide cancelled on us just days before. Luckily I was able to reschedule and Luca was our guide. The tour could not have been better. Our fist still was a coffee sho and the owner stayed open just for us. We were served espresso and it was delicious. Next w e went through the food market and had fresh squeezed orange juice. We walked the old town and ended up in a second food market where we dined on true Sicilian street food. It was delicious. Finishing up the tour with a stop for gelato….. Luca was the best and I highly recommend booking his tour. Excellent Street Food tour

We are a group of ageing siblings who, once a year, travel together to an European city to experience the history, culture and definitely food. We have used WithLocals in Rome, Athens, Istanbul and Naples and so we asked Luca to guide us round Palermo for a day and a half guided tour of the main sites and hidden gens, including great food. Luca was perfect! His knowledge, choice of sites to visit (including food!), his enthusiasm and love of Palermo, plus being an excellent, interesting and funny guide. We could not have wished for a better, happier introduction to Palermo, its history, culture and food - including some amazing icecream brioche rolls! We even had full storms, thunder. lightening and a lot of rain one day, but that did not dimish Luca's interaction and we didn't even notice how wet we got because it was still a fabulous experience. We would all highly recommend Luca and if we come back to Palermo, which we hope to do, will definitely book Luca again. Thank you Luca!How to feel the heart of Palermo in 2 days
