Luca was great. I scheduled a street food tour months ago and the guide cancelled on us just days before. Luckily I was able to reschedule and Luca was our guide. The tour could not have been better. Our fist still was a coffee sho and the owner stayed open just for us. We were served espresso and it was delicious. Next w e went through the food market and had fresh squeezed orange juice. We walked the old town and ended up in a second food market where we dined on true Sicilian street food. It was delicious. Finishing up the tour with a stop for gelato….. Luca was the best and I highly recommend booking his tour. Excellent Street Food tour

We are a group of ageing siblings who, once a year, travel together to an European city to experience the history, culture and definitely food. We have used WithLocals in Rome, Athens, Istanbul and Naples and so we asked Luca to guide us round Palermo for a day and a half guided tour of the main sites and hidden gens, including great food. Luca was perfect! His knowledge, choice of sites to visit (including food!), his enthusiasm and love of Palermo, plus being an excellent, interesting and funny guide. We could not have wished for a better, happier introduction to Palermo, its history, culture and food - including some amazing icecream brioche rolls! We even had full storms, thunder. lightening and a lot of rain one day, but that did not dimish Luca's interaction and we didn't even notice how wet we got because it was still a fabulous experience. We would all highly recommend Luca and if we come back to Palermo, which we hope to do, will definitely book Luca again. Thank you Luca!How to feel the heart of Palermo in 2 days

We had a really enjoyable couple of hours wandering the streets of Palermo with Luca. He has a real love for his city and it was brilliant to spend time seeing it through his eyes. Luca provided great recommendations for eating and drinking and we were very grateful for his advice. Thanks to Luca we had one of the best meals of our trip in a restaurant we would never have found on our own. Luca is really knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He dealt with our many questions with patience and good humour!!Great Introduction to Palermo

My friends and I are so glad that we picked Luca as our guide. Not only he is knowledgeable about food and the way around Palermo but he is also a very wonderful person, so easy to talk to that my friends and I were so comfortable the moment we met. And his punctuality to the appointment time we arranged was so impressive. We tasted a variety of food starting off with the Sicilian coffee, then fresh squeezed orange juice and tried that very fragrant small round so sweet strawberries. And had a delicious late lunch at Alcolisti per Passione Vucciria where we had caponata, chickpea fritters, calamari and crispy small fish. A meal is never complete without a sweet end to it. And we sure devoured ourselves to La Kala Pistacehio e Mahdorla ice cream and cannoli. That Friday afternoon of May 16, 2025, my friends and I had a full belly and a great time spent with Luca. I highly recommend Luca to friends and everyone. Thank you Luca for making our day.Amazing Food Experience!

We went on the Palermo Food Tour with Luca. We had a wonderful variety of food and we enjoyed all of it. We had a lovely walk round Palermo and Luca was very informative about the places and building’s. We would recommend Luca and this tour. Great Foor Tour

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Luca walking around Palermo and eating delicious local food. From the time of the booking, Luca was in touch with me to organise a convenient meeting point to fit around our plans. He took us to many interesting places in Palermo, some of which we would not have discovered on our own. He told us a lot about the history of Palermo and the changes over recent years which were really interesting. As an architect, he was also able to point out various facts about the buildings we were looking at. We had a lovely selection of local food in one of the markets that we visited but my favourite part of the tour was the cannoli from the nunnery which we ate in the most peaceful garden attached to the nunnery. I highly recommend this tour. Enjoyable and informative tour with Luca

Luca was such a great guy. So knowledgeable and very friendly. Very flexible on where to go and what to eat. Luca’s suggestions were perfect. We learnt so much and enjoyed it immensely.
