Luis was a tour guide tour guide. So knowledgeable, personable and fantastic with his historical dates and events. Added to this was his dry sense of humour and wonnerful command of English from anecdotes to slang. Highest recommendation.Great Tour Guide

Jose Luis gave the four of us a very informative, interesting and enjoyable three hour walking tour of the important sights of Porto. We were very impressed with his knowledge of the history of the various sights, which he was able to embellish with personal anecdotes. Jose Luis was courteous with a good sense of humour and was happy to give us tips on good places to eat. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. We had a 3 hour tour with Jose Luis who kindly met us at the hotel a short time after we arrived in Porto. Jose Luis had a good command of English, spent his life in Porto, clearly loves the city, and is very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal. it was a most enjoyable introduction, particularly his explanation of the famous tiles in the train station depicting the turbulent history of Portugal, and the history of the various statues around the city. He was a delightful guide to spend 3 hours with, and I would thoroughly recommend his services. Our small group had a private tour with Jose Luis and it was utterly brilliant. His knowledge together with personal anecdote brought the city alive for us. I can’t recommend him (or the tour) highly enough. The only issue I had is with With Locals - having to download the app, too much admin etc, but the tour itself was magicA tour with a master!! 10 out of 10!
