Have been lucky enough to live in different countries but always ended up coming back to my city which I love and feel like a fish in its element when exploring it.

We spent our Friday afternoon on a food tour with Luz and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico City. Every stop was a burst of unique flavors, from rich and savory to fresh and vibrant. Even with my low spice tolerance, I was able to enjoy every single bite, and for those who like a fiery kick there were plenty of salsas and hot sauces ready to turn up the heat. What really made the experience special was Luz herself. She did not just guide us through incredible food, she brought the city to life with her knowledge, stories, and passion for her culture. As first-time visitors, we walked away with full stomachs, happy hearts, and a deeper appreciation for Mexico City. If you are visiting, do not think twice, book this tour. You will not be disappointed.Amazing food and fun!

I contacted Luz and asked her to set up a custom tour for me. I wanted to find some handmade jewelry to bring home for gifts. She took me through the artisan market and helped me find every last item on my list. We then took a stroll to try an amazing Gordita and finished off with a lovely walk through the historic central area of Mexico City. She’s knowledgeable about the area, had interesting facts about everything we saw and went out of her way to make me feel welcome and comfortable, which is no small feat. She even walked me to a good spot to catch an Uber and waited with me until I was picked up. I felt looked after from start to finish. It was a great time and a lovely cap on what was already amazing trip. Highly recommended. Great guide, better person. Thank you!A lovely tour of the artisan market

Luz and I had a lovely time exploring the markets. We ate everything ! I learned a lot about the history of food . Luz has a good presence with all the vendors and took me to see exotic foods, flowers, and tasted everything . It was a fast paced fun day !Food Tour

Luz did a great job taking us to some yummy local tastings of authentic Mexican cuisine. We had a variety of different delicious dishes, and drinks. I would definitely recommend Luz. She was knowledgeable about the history of the food and the city, as well! A Tasty Tour!

The food tour w Luz was not just delicious, but informative! She patiently answered all our queries, and explained each and every food we ate. There were several kinds of taco (all good!!!), some drinks, breads, chicharron, flautas, several more! The walking was not enough to bring down every dish we ate, so go very hungry ;) Thanks for the yummy food tour, Luz!!!Yummy food tour w Luz :)

Luz was absolutely wonderful! We asked to do a 5 hour tour to sample the street food in several different neighborhoods, and did exactly that. Luz was organized and easy to communicate with prior to our tour and full of great tidbits during. Would highly recommend booking with her!

My husband and I enjoyed a great Taco tour in Mexico City with Luz. The tour took place in a quiet neighbourhood outside the city centre, and it was great to eat at a street stall as well as local restaurants (including one included in the Michelin guide).
