We booked a Mexico City Kickstarter tour with Mabel, and it was anything but just a Kickstarter! We spent 3 hours with her, while she explained the importance of the historical center of CDMX. I honestly learned more about the history of Mexico in those three hours than I did in all my years of schooling. She was engaging, knowledgeable, and best of all, shared her favorite places to go in the city for food, art, etc. After the tour, she sent a long list of her favorite museums, etc. and even built out a two day itinerary for us. We would have never known about a local's art event on Saturdays without her telling us, where we ended up going and commissioning a painting for our home. Thanks, Mabel. Our trip to Teotihuacan with Mabel was amazing! From the hotel pick-up, to the considerate provision of a cooler for our water, everything was well-thought of. Mabel was very considerate of my senior parents, allowing them to rest and stay put when tired, and also understood my limitations w climbing stairs because of my bad knee. She explained everything we saw and experienced, even the wares the sellers were showcasing at the site. She advised us what not to buy, and what to buy, and after a tiring, but fruitful time in Teotihuacan, she brought us to a yummy, local Mexican restaurant, where she even patiently explained everything on the menu! My family highly recommends touring with Mabel :) An amazing trip to Teotihuacan with Mabel!

I booked the guided tour with Mabel with 6 girlfriends for our first trip to CDMX and we all loved the experience. Mabel is a true expert and has so much passion and information to share we felt like we learned SO much in a short period of time and got to see the things that spoke to us the most. Would highly recommend to anyone! Mabel was an outstanding guide and host for our walking tour through the sights of the Reforma neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience, learning a great deal, filled with rich cultural and historical facts, and excellent recommendations for food and further interesting sights to look into (and Mabel's recommendations were outstanding, confirmed by our visits!). Mabel was wonderful. She gave us such an engaging and informative introduction to the city—we learned so much, and she was the perfect person to kick off our time in Mexico City. Did this tour as the start of my thanksgiving vacation with my parents. Mabel was very knowledgeable and catered to giving us a history of mexico with elderly parents who can't walk too long. It is a great short tour to give you an idea of Mexican history. She loves doing this as her job and we enjoyed it so much we booked a tour to Coyoacan the next day with her! Amazing experience
