My name is Maha, and my love for Japan has been with me since childhood. In 2012, my dream of living in Kyoto came true, and during my six-month stay, I fell deeply in love with the city. Kyoto offers an exquisite blend of culture, history, art, food, and nature that is truly captivating. It is a place of serenity, yet brimming with vibrant energy. There's a certain soulfulness to Kyoto that instantly charms anyone who visits.

Having traveled and lived in various countries, I realized that my heart yearned to return to Kyoto. In 2017, I made that dream a reality, and now I spend my time exploring hidden gems and lesser-known places. Every time I stumble upon these treasures, I am continuously amazed by the beauty and tranquility that Kyoto has to offer.

One area that has stolen my heart is the northern part, particularly Kurama. When advising first-time visitors, I always encourage them to broaden their horizons. By striking a balance between well-known tourist spots and lesser-known local gems, one can truly grasp the essence of Kyoto. I am an advocate for authentic experiences, urging people to avoid falling into the narrow confines of the "tourist bubble."

Kyoto has an endless array of discoveries awaiting those who seek them, and I take pleasure in unraveling its secrets. This city has a way of embracing you and leaving a lasting impression on your soul. Whether it's uncovering hidden temples, stumbling upon serene gardens, or savoring local delicacies, Kyoto will never cease to inspire and captivate. It is a place that continues to charm me, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

We’re a group of 3 people and Maha guided us through Kyoto and the must to see sites for a one-day visit. Maha is very friendly, professional and knows very well the town and the Japanese culture. We enjoyed being with her and learning more about Japan. Thus, she gave us advice about our trip and good places where to go eating. We highly recommend her services. We all speak French and Maha speaks perfectly our language. Friendly & professional guide !

Maha was a delightful guide to some interesting temples and a wonderful old area with street food and beautiful houses. She encouraged us to go back at night and we were glad we did. The lighting of the huge Pagoda was magical. As wonderful walking tour with Maha

Maha was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and friendly. Had a great time walking through the main attractions of the tour and helped immensely on my upcoming itinerary for following days.
