I would like to give you a warm welcome to my hometown, as locals like to call it "the most beautiful city in the world". During the tours, you'll learn more about the 17 centuries of history of this vibrant town. What it is that makes us proud and passionate, but also what challenges 'Splitizens' nowadays.

Since my university days, I've been working in the tourist industry. After obtaining a license as a tourist guide and experiencing the thrill and emotion that direct contact with travelers from different cultures brings into my life, I've decided not to return to a desk job in a travel agency. This thrill and excitement keep me going even after 18 years of professional guiding. Although traveling all around Croatia and abroad makes me happy, I find that guiding in the city of my origins fulfills me as I can share firsthand experiences, thrills, and emotions of living in this bustling town.

Went for a two hour tour, as our time was limited, and learn alot about Split and its rich history. Maja was very professional, skilled and had alot of interesting knowledge to share. Would recommend Maja any day. On top of this Maja had a fantastic recommendation for our dinner in suggesting to visit Bokeria, which turned out to be a very high end dinner experience. FANTASTIC AND AUTHENTIC!

We toured Krka National Park with Maja. We saw waterfalls, an old flour mills and learned the history of this beautiful park from Maja, but as well had interesting conversation on local tradition, contemporary life-style, cuisine. If you are traveling to Split, I would highly recommend contracting her.Tour of Krka waterfalls

We used Maja as a guide and found her to be lovely and a wealth of information.She definitely knows her stuff, while having a really nice manner about her. We did 3 hour walking tour with her and it was enough to get a much more in-depth view of the town than our own travels had been able to give us. I really liked Maja! Walking tour of Split
