What a great time with Maja who accommodated our time restraints and especially our need for pizza! We had all visited Florence in the past and looked at all the beautiful sights, but we lacked understanding of the city, its history and its people. And most of all, the hidden things that are sometimes in plain sight, like the secure passageway between Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. It was a fun, insightful tour and Maja was very generous and also curious about us Canadians! Grazie Maja!A better understanding of Firenze

Maja made our day! Her warm welcome and beautiful smile kicked off our experience pretty well. We’ve visited Palazzo Vecchio which we knew already… or that’s what we thought :) Maja made us see it from the Medicis’ perspective, as if it was a travel in time! What a journey!!! Then we went to the Offices and Maja did a super job in taking us right away through the best pieces of artwork… Our time couldn’t be best managed! We recommend Maja not just for her cultural and historical knowledge, but also for her charming company and joyful spirit. Aline, Naomi and RichardA fabulous experience !

Maja and I communicated prior to meeting regarding tickets, and logistics. We met on time (yay!) at the designated spot, and Maja was friendly and got to know us a bit before heading into the Accademia. She was very knowledgable and we visited the most important and interesting things there. On the walk from the Accademia to the Uffizi, Maja gave us a bit of a walking tour, and pointed out historical and interesting facts, but also chatted with us about our lives and her own. It was really nice to make a connection. At the Uffizi, again, we touched on the highlights and learned a lot - she also got to know what the most interesting things were for our family and made sure she customized based on this. She was incredibly accommodating, friendly, knowledgable and we had a GREAT time!Maja was GREAT!
