Manjeet has many 5 star reviews and they are for good reason. She is passionate about food, the food culture of Malaysia, and KL in particular. Her tour is well structured, with wonderful flavours. Manjeet gave us the most fantastic food and cultural tour. From start to finish she was amazing! As part of the group we had one person who is coeliac (gluten free) as well as a 4 year old child. From pre-booking discussions we knew we were in great hands as she was really knowledgeable about being gluten free and even supplied a multi-language allergy alert card to use in Malaysia. The tour was adapted to cater for our dietary requirements (even going to a place where the chef is gluten free!) and the food was incredible - a good mixture of sweet and savoury! Our tour included a ride on the train to Little India, which the 4 year old loved, as well as a trip to a bakery. She included cultural landmarks and adapted the tour so we could see the padang and colonial area. She followed up with a list of all the food tried, as well as more details about places to eat gluten free within Malaysia! We cannot speak highly enough of Manjeet. She was engaging, knowledgeable, thoughtful and knew just where to find amazing food! Make sure you go on this tour hungry as there was so much food!! Thank you so much!Amazing!

Highly recommended to all travellers but especially those spending a short(er) time in the KL. Manjeet was guiding me to places I probably would have missed due my short stay and thanks to her, I learned a lot about the history, culture and religious backgrounds of this amazing city. She has a great knowledge and could answer all my questions. I had an extremely good time walking around with her, very grateful for the experience 🙏 💙Excellent tour with a great host!!

We took the local street food tour of Kuala Lumpur and Manjeet was an amazing guide. She took us to many excellent food places and displayed a great knowledge about both the food and the city. Manjeet was also quite friendly. She was extremely diligent in ensuring our dietary restrictions (vegetarian) were adhered to. She also provided many other suggestions for things to do around the city during the rest of our stay, including a map of hand picked places to go in nearby Melaka, which we heavily relied on when our tour guide there was awful. As an final example of how great she is: Before the tour started, we had issues with getting a taxi, and she helped us to make a last minute switch to go by the Monorail instead by sending us very helpful screenshots and instructions of what sort of ticket to buy (it was our first day in the city and this certainly saved time given we were already late), and she even adjusted he order of places we visited to make this work. Finally, she gave us a goody bag of desserts since we'd enjoy them more while not so full! Wonderful guide!

Es war großartig mit Manjeet die lokale Küche zu erkunden. Wir waren zu 4 mit einem Vegetarier und sie hatte immer eine Alternative parat. Weil einer von uns die Schärfe nicht so gut vertragen hat, hat Manjeet ihre Tour dementsprechend immer wieder angepasst. Dazu hat sie uns auch sehr interessante Informationen über KL und Restaurants gegeben.Einfach nur toll!!

I was searching for a tour focusing more on history and culture in Malaysia and I couldn't have asked for a better guide than Manjeet. She tailored the tour based on my interests, she is passionate and super knowledgeable (I learned a lot about pf Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur) and walked me through the places I wouldn’t visit on my own (Taoist temple visit was fascinating). We had interesting discussions on a range of topics from literature to weather. It was really an enriching experience. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and engaging guide for exploring Malaysia's culture and history.Great day with Manjeet

Manjeet is a highly knowledgeable and cultured guide. Before the tour, she took the time to ask about my preferences, and on the day itself—knowing I had just arrived in Kuala Lumpur that morning—she was attentive to my comfort throughout the day. Her thoughtfulness and consideration made the experience very enjoyable. I enjoyed the break we took at a café, where I had Nyonya sweets along with a cup of kopi. It was a delightful and relaxing moment that added a special touch to the day. I highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning about history and culture. We did the ten tasting out with Manjeet and what a way to start our holiday! Manjeet is incredibly knowledgeable not just about the food but the history and stories behind each dish too. As we made our way through the streets of KL Manjeet explained the history around us. From the very start, she ascertained what we liked and then tailored tastings to suit us, with a few surprises on the way. She even very kindly bought us a few treats to take away and have later. Her English is perfect too, probably better than some of my English friends! We would highly recommend Manjeet, for her knowledge, humour, wit and she is just lovely!Fabulous!
