We had a great afternoon with Matteo, he kept our 4 kids(12 and under) entertained throughout the tour and was very knowledgable and communicated very well. Highly recommmended!Colosseum tour with Matteo

Matteo is a great guide. He answered every random question we had and navigated the sites well. My only criticism is that his beginning history briefing was quite long.Awesome

We were a party of 5 that had a fantastic 1.5 hour tour of the Colosseum with Matteo. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions and bring the history alive. My 80 yr old mother thoroughly enjoyed it and Matteo was happy to move at her pace and find viewing points to avoid the large impersonal groups. I would definitely use 'withlocals' again.Excellent Personalised Tour

We took the tour with Matteo for the Colosseum and the surrounding. Amazing and highly recommended. I mentioned that he gave us more than a tour of the area because he also enlightened us with the relevant history of Rome so that we can understand the context of what we were looking at. Very knowledgeable and great story telling. He was very accommodating to our needs to take plenty of pictures and still completing the tour. More than just a tour

Matteo gave my husband and I a great tour of the Colosseum and Surrounding areas. He was very personable, interesting and knowledgeable. He gave a terrific overview of Roman History and really brought to life and made it easy to picture how the Colosseum would have looked in ancient Rome. It was a very crowded day and he did a great job navigating the crowds and never missed a beat in explaining everything. I would highly recommend a tour with him.Colosseum Tour

We were late getting into the Vatican because of the queues, despite buying skip the line tickets. But Matteo made sure we saw as much as possible in the time we had together - it was like having our own private historian as our guide! He made the tour so interesting and enjoyable. Our guide Matteo did a fantastic job highlighting the history of Rome during our morning walking tour of the city. He had lunch reservations for us at Arlu, which was amazing. The afternoon tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica would have been impossible to get through without Matteo due to the crowds. Our group was small (4 people) and he was able to get us through in a much more efficient manner than we could have even done on our own or in a large group. I highly recommend this tour and especially with Matteo!! He was wonderful!! Excellent tour!
