Marcel is a caring and kind person and we had a very enjoyable day spending time with him. He planned the day very well and shared his wealth of knowledge with us, not only about Montserrat but more generally about Barcelona.A great way to spend a day!

With so much to see in a short period of time, my husband, and I like to take a bike tour of a major city’s highlights so that we can see the most important monuments and points of interest on day, one. On a bike it is so much easier than walking, as you can cover so much ground. Marcel did a fantastic job and showing us the highlights of Barcelona, which is such an amazingly beautiful city, as well as give us some insights as to foodie places that we could go and enjoy a tapas and a local drink. He actually brought along an iPad, that gave us 3-D modeling and comparative pictures of past and present, so that we really got a sense of how the city has developed overtime. I highly recommend this tour and Marcel. And he takes great pictures! Five stars all the way.Fabulous First Exposure to Barcelona

My family and I - we have 10 year old twins - had a great morning in Barcelona with Marcelo yesterday. Great tour of the Gothic Quarter and Gaudi highlights. Marcelo was extremely knowledgeable and amazing with our children. 3 wonderful hours with Marcelo

Marcel overall was a great tour guide for our family. Our Barcelona city tour overlapped with our Gothic tour in terms of places and Marcel was able to pivot and show us other things that we had not seen. He was engaging with her 7-year-old providing fun games and challenges for her along the way and some surprises which made it easy to keep her attention for the walking to her. We took a second trip and tour with him the following day to Montserrat monastery. Going with him made the overall journey very easy to find the train, we took 2 different methods of seeing the monitor including the ventricular 1 way and the cable car the other. His knowledge of Montserrat was great. He again kept her daughter engaged and was able to take many family pictures on both days. 1 key thing which we appreciated is Marcel does not talk incessantly. He allows a lot of downtime to observe and really was great to be with.Great City & Monserrat Tour

We love to take bike tours in any new city, to get a real sense of the place without being stuck on a tour bus. I knew that we would love the tour of Barcelona but Marcelo made it even more fun by including a few hidden gems as well. He also shared a lot about the history of the city and his favorite places. We are especially appreciative that he changed the date of our tour on short notice when I got unexpectedly ill on our planned day. I am very grateful!The best way to see a new city!

We were a group of colleagues who visited Montserrat on a Sunday afternoon. Marcelo was an incredible guide. Not only was he knowledgeable and full of information about the history and significance of all the places he showed us, he showed us the best vantage spots for pictures, and even clicked photos patiently for us. He was also full of practical tips like running to get in line for the cable car to ensure that we were the first ones on board. As the wind picked up and the weather started getting cold, Marcelo also provided us with warm caps and scarves from his bag...I can safely say that this is above and beyond what we expected! The tour was great - not just because of the destination of Montserrat, but also because of the thoughtful way in which the travel was organized...cable car up and railway down. Marcelo even advised which seats to take for the best views. Will strongly recommend Marcelo for any tour in Catalunya, I know that I will certainly call him when I am there next.Amazing Montserrat with Marcelo

We only had one full day to explore such a huge city rich in culture and history, which is the reason I booked this tour to maximize our time, and we hit the jackpot with Marcel! I contacted Marcel the evening before our tour for quick recommendations of things to do in the evening. Marcel replied with an exhaustive list of recommendations, which was very much appreciated! On the day of our tour, Marcel was prompt to meet us with a smile and a treasure trove of history knowledge. Marcel was very engaging, passionate about sharing his beautiful city and patient with our family of four :) We also got multiple fabulous family pictures thanks to Marcel's willingness to help us document our trip in pictures! We are extra appreciative of Marcel doing this tour on what was a national family Holiday (Three Kings Day). We cannot recommend him enough! We feel we maximized our short time in Barcelona and got to see and learn about the "must do's" such as the Sagrada Familia, the wonderful Gaudi architecture, the Gothic Quarter, among many other things because of him! He is just the best!Fantastic tour of Barcelona- Marcel rocks
