Maria gave us an insight into the eating customs and culture of Porto, with a wonderful personal touch. We visited places that we would never have found for ourselves. This is the first time we have taken a guided tour (not being fond of that level of organisation) but this was a completely unique experience which we will treasure A wonderful abd generous host

Maria is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. She was easy to talk to and answered the many questions we had. My friend and I are 2 completely different women but she balanced both personalities beautifully and we both felt very included and special. Maria remembered our personal interests and devoted her time to ensure that we both got what we wanted. Her wit and awesomeness are just some of her attributes. A wonderful and memorable experience!

A thoroughly enjoyable few hours walking around Porto in Maria’s company. Her knowledge and passion for food and Porto life were compelling and shone through with her choices of food, wine and venues. We felt as if we’d spent a few hours in the company of a knowledgeable new friend.

We (6 of us) had a wonderful food tour with Maria. We walked all over Porto sampling different foods, learning interesting tidbits about the local traditions and history, and just having a good time. Maria was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful (providing good directions on taking the Metro from the cruise port to the meeting point). Overall, it was a first-rate experience and would highly recommend to all.Tasty, Fun, and Interesting!
