Hello,

I'm Marine, French expat and I've been living in Cork for 9 years now.

With an M.A. in History of Art and multiple experiences as a tour guide in museums in France, I moved to the Emerald Island without ever stepping foot there before.

I never left. There is a kindness and a down-to-earth way of facing life here that is unique to Ireland.

So my way of paying them back is to train in Irish lacemaking and hopefully pass down the knowledge in the near future. In return, our group can learn gold work taught in Rochefort.

Because heritage is so important, I now keep my calling alive by guiding visitors around the Real Capital of Ireland and its surroundings.

I like what is obvious but I love the hidden details. Cork is a big puzzle but look closely and we can read the History between the buildings (and pubs).
