Hi there! I'm Marisa, originally from Spain and living in Lisbon for 11 years. Since I first came here I fell in love with the city, and started working as a guide since then for different Tourism agencies. I have a degree in Art History and I'm also an absolute passionate of music, street art, dancing and all types of culture in general. During our tours we will not only learn about Lisbon's history, but we'll also focus on the influence of music and street art in this city, getting off-the-beaten-tracks to visit charming spots where rarely visitors get, enjoying a Fado performance, some African music concert in a small tavern or just discovering stunning hidden old palaces interiors. I LOVE music, really! and I´m a big enthusiast of music venues, so don't hesitate to ask me about recommendations about listening good live music in the city, such as Cape Verde, Brazilian or Angola rythms, Fado small and hidden places, jazz music clubs or Latin American vibes :) And also, we will approach to the real locals life by visiting their neighborhoods and, why not, tasting a drink and enjoying the vibrant athmosphere of the local life in Lisbon.

My sister and I had an amazing time walking the streets of Lisbon with Marisa! We talked about Lisbon history, its people, its culture, while looking at the city from breathtaking viewpoints, exploring shortcuts and secret passages, admiring street art and learning about the artists and their techniques. We also have so many tips from Marisa for our remaining time here: what to see, where to eat, and even where to buy tinned fish to take back home :) Marisa was very responsive when we were designing our tour before the trip. She made great suggestions and was very flexible and accommodating. On the day she delivered a perfect mix fitting our interests. We highly recommend going on a tour with Marisa. Marissa went to a great effort to make sure she would tailor make the tour for us. She spoke clearly in good English and knowledgeably. We were amazed that she took us effortlessly from one side of the city to the other without using any transport or lifts. As requested she showed us some hidden sights. She gave us clear instructions on finding the meeting place, and how to find our way back at the end. Highly recommend Marissa.In depth tour effortlessly guided.

Our first full day in Lisbon, Marisa was the perfect guide! We heard about the history of Lisbon and walked to different locations around town. She was both professional and warm. If you are doing a walking tour in Lisbon, Marisa can not be beat. She was completely knowledgeable about the entire city. She made sure we saw everything promised in the walk description. She gave us suggestions about restaurants and sites. She was on time to meet us as well. In addition, she was super nice and very pleasant. I will recommend her to everyone I know who is traveling to Lisbon. Marisa rocks!
