Martin was incredibly friendly, welcoming and informative... the perfect tour guide. Even though one of us had already been to Bruges, Martin was able to offer many unique insights and stories. The time flew by my Wife and I absolutely enjoyed ourselves. We continued to visit the many restaurants, shops and tourist spots throughout the remainder of our visit and everything amazing. This was a great way to start a visit. Martin had great local information and great suggestions for places to eat afterwards. He seemed to know everyone and helped us find a number of out-of-the-way shops. Excellent tour.Charming and funny

We had a wonderful private tour with Martin who shared all things Bruges with us! A combination of history, anecdotes, culture, and food tastings provided a great introduction to our stay in Bruges. Martin was interesting and made history come alive. Would highly recommend!!History & Humor

Our family of five (with kids ages 9, 12 and 15) loved every minute of our tour with Martin. He had a wonderful way of engaging all of us in the history of Brugge, especially our youngest child - she tends to have a shorter attention span, but she was thoroughly enthralled with all of Martin’s stories. He customized the tour to our interests, with a delicious waffle tasting and a stop at an amazing chocolate shop. He also sat with us at a great local brewery to enjoy a flight of beers. Martin made our experience in Brugge very memorable, and we learned so much more than we ever would have on our own. He made the tour fun, relaxing and informative, and he sent us a great list of places to try on our own afterward. He even walked us to one of the restaurants to book our dinner reservation for us. I highly recommend a tour with Martin. He is a gem and a pleasure to spend the day with in Brugge!Outstanding Guide in Brugge

Martin is an excellent host. He’s funny, knowledgeable and keen to show you the places, including restaurants which the tourists often miss. (And also those worth avoiding). 90 minutes in his company passed too quickly but left us with a good plan for our next three days. Excellent intro to Bruges

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Martin, who wove the story of the rise and fall of Bruges with good humour and knowledge. I would highly recommend this tour so you can understand the buildings and places you are looking at. Maximillian being held captive at the window overlooking the main square, why the swans are there etc (hope I'm not giving too much away Martin!) whilst admiring this fabulous time capsule of a small city. Thank you for making it now so memorable. Engaging, friendly and we learnt a lot!

We enjoyed everything about our walking tour through Bruges with Martin. He was informative and paced the tour very well. Was happy to take any and all questions. Found all the interesting ways to move around the city to see the highlights but not be constantly in masses of tourists. Left is also with great recommendations for the rest of our day. Martin hat zuerst ein paar freundliche Fragen gestellt. Das war gut zum Warmwerden und um zu schauen, was für uns von besonderem Interesse ist. Wir hatten eine schöne Führung, die uns für die Kürze der Zeit dank Martin immerhin doch einen kleinen Einblick in die Geschichte Brügges verschaffte.
