Hi everybody,

I'm Matteo Fusini and I was born in Florence 44 years ago. I have always lived in this amazing city. I also studied here I got a degree in political science at the University of Florence. Living in the "cradle of the Reinassance", I have always been an art and history enthusiast as my father and my grandfather were, before me. For this reason some years ago I joined a professional class of the Regione Toscana , the region of Italy where Florence is, to become a professional Tour Guide and .. here I am!! I'm a licensed tour guide of Florence and Tuscany. I love my job and I love to share the things I learnt about Florence with all the travellers who are here on holiday. . I look forward to telling you all the secrets of this incredible city. it'not only a job , it's a mission.

I’ve had historical tours in countless cities. Further, this was my fifth visit to Firenze. Despite my knowledge of the city and the numerous tours that be taken, Matteo provided the best historical tour I’ve ever experienced. Matteo tied together history and sites over an extended period of time with interesting and memorable stories. He is kind, smart and incredibly knowledgeable. We came to Florence for a 60th Birthday. When Matteo started our walking tour, we stopped at an amazing bakery and he surprised us with Prosecco for a birthday cheers. What a wonderful start to an amazing tour where Matteo indulged us in food, wine, gelato and a wealth of history about this beautiful city. We couldn’t have picked a better tour guide. Matteo is a local guide with an amazing knowledge of the history of Florence and his art. We made a verry enjoyable and entertaining tour, and he even offered us a realy artisanal made icecream. Matteo did a great job of acquainting us with his home town. He was generous of sprit and with his time. Great sense of humor. Knowledgeable about architecture, art and history. He also gave us suggestions for restaurants, travel and shopping. Great tour.

We had a fantastic time with Matteo. His knowledge of Firenze was amazing. We visited several churches and it was really interesting having the various artworks explained to us. Pointing out interesting facts as we walked through the city. We have been to Firenze before but this was the first time with a guide. Matteo definitely made this visit the most enjoyable.
