We really enjoyed our day in the small villages of Anguillara Sabazia and Calcata Vecchia after several days in busy Rome. Matteo was an excellent guide and very accommodating. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off in the Jewish Ghetto per our request. I highly recommend this day tour.Excellent Respite from the City

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Matteo. We did a fair bit of hill climbing but it was all so worth it for the incredible view of the city from up high and rewarded ourselves with incredible gelato on the way back down! Matteo knows this part of Rome quite well. He knew all the best street corners and architectural elements and how to photograph them. He was able to design the walk with emphasis to my interests - that being street photography. He is also very knowledgeable regarding technical details of photography and will give you useful insights to the extent you want them. Matteo is an easygoing friendly bloke whose love of Roma is evident. We strolled the streets of Trastevere, keeping an eye out for likely photographs, & chatting. He helped me to see what the leading lines might be in photos of buildings & together we looked out for light & shade. In terms of photography, it was a very useful 3 hours & got me off my lazy iPhone & onto the camera. I could have spent the whole day wandering the backstreets of Roma with Matteo. Thank you. This was such a precious memory for us during our visit to Rome. The walk around the neighbourhood with Matteo was such an eye opener. We learnt so much from Matteo — from photography tips to the history of the place and the local life and food of the people. Matteo taught us how to factor lighting in, which resulted in awesome photos. He gave us tips on photography which we will definitely use from now on. The local cafe with pasta, pizza and fried breaded rice croquettes (suppli) were delicious! Will definitely recommend Rome Photo Walk with Matteo 😊👍Awesome Walk with Matteo

Matteo has been amazing to connect and work with during our trip to Rome. We asked him to offer something unique, a photo shoot with our daughter, and he has been responsive, communicative, and open to ideas and our input throughout the process. We had a great walking tour with Matteo! He was knowledgeable about the neighborhoods history and brought us to local stores where we got to taste a variety of local foods, meat, cheese and Pastries. He was very personable and gave other recommendations on dinner after and must see sites. Trastevere expert

Matteo was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodated our allergies whilst not letting it affect other parties in our group. We were very full very quickly during the 3 hour experience, would highly recommend Excellent
