Mauricio saw that some of us were having difficulty getting around so he adjusted the tour accordingly which was so weird of him. I learned more about Maurizio than I did about the food and area but he was very nice. We also got 5 tastings and not 6. He also didn’t leave us until we were safely in a taxi so kind.Caring

Maurizio was a great host, walking us around various stops in Rome sharing stories of his experiences and some of the history of our various stops. The food was excellent, and we would highly recommend this experience. Great food, great host.

Every place Maurizio took us to eat was fantastic. He was very friendly and full of interesting facts that he told us along the way. Would recommend him as your guide. 10/10 experience. Amazing experience

Maurizio was a great guide! He knew all the best bites in Rome and introduced us to some really delicious foods. He's also really friendly and easy to chat with. We all loved this tour - both our teens thought this was a huge highlight of our time in Rome. Highly recommend! Amazing day with Maurizio

Mauricio was a gem, very engaging and pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the best food to eat and the places to get it. The pasta dish was our favorite, just indescribably good, and it came from a little hole in the wall, take out only shop that we would never have found on our own. And the gelato shop he took us to, wow! Good thing we had a long walk back to our Airbnb because we were absolutely stuffed when the tour was over. Book Mauricio and bring an appetite!!Wonderful tour

We had just landed and booked Maurizio last minute, and boy did he save the day. We were tired and hungry and couldn’t have had made a better decision to reach out to him. We met in Trastavere, had some delicious food from beautiful local and affordable businesses and Maurizio is clearly loved by the neighborhood. He has so much positive energy, a great sense of humor, my mother and I felt so comfortable and at home with a new friend. We loved everything we ate, and had trouble finishing our food because of the generous quantities. We appreciate the evening with him, and found some lovely places to go back to on our own time. The time we booked for was about 6 pm on a Friday night, I would recommend booking an earlier time to catch most of the businesses still open, we were lucky that Marie at Gelatario Del Viale was still there, because let me tell you, the rose petal gelato was exactly what we needed between all of the tastings. Maurizio is such a cool guy, down to earth, and full of fun stories. Thank you for the lovely adventure, and all of your kindness. Lucky Tour

Our tour with Maurizio was fantastic! It really set the tone for our time in Rome. Delicious food, unique places & a really personalised experience.
