Whether you are in Osaka for just a day like us for for several days, I highly recommend this walking tour with Max as a great way to get introduced to the city! Max completely catered our itinerary so that my family (including a teenager) could see the main highlights of the city by foot. He kept my son engaged and even helped us navigate a fun gaming arcade, past all the claw machines on the first few floors and introduced us to some fun and popular Japanese games like the drumming game which my son liked so much he sought it out at another arcade in Tokyo the next day. Max shared some history and cultural insight and took fabulous pictures at all the right spots along the way. He also provided some food and restaurant recommendations which were a big hit. Max has a very cool and laid back personality, was raised in England so his English is perfect and was a pleasure to spend three hours with. Highly recommend!Great way to get to know the city!

Max was great. Easy to communicate with in the lead up to the tour, and friendly throughout. He made a considerable effort to include stops that appealed to our kids which was appreciated and led to a better experience for everyone. The snippets of stories around the history of Osaka were brilliant. Would highly recommend Max for anyone coming to Osaka. Great Osaka Stroll

Max was a very thoughtful guide, very considerate, knowledgable, and super chill. We went at a comfortable pace and saw many of Osaka's top sights. Max took time to not only show us around but give us insight and recommendations for the rest of our trip. It was a wonderful experience we won't forget. I had an amazing experience on this tour! Right after booking, I was promptly contacted to discuss my interests and was matched with my guide, Max, in no time. He quickly sent me a detailed list of places to visit, which covered everything—historical landmarks, modern spots, local food and drink favorites, as well as cute and vintage shopping areas. I was able to explore all of Osaka in just one day and easily navigate the city's complex metro and railway systems with Max’s help. His English was flawless, and he explained the history in a clear and memorable way. He was incredibly helpful in showing me the best spots for amazing shots.
