We learned so much from our lovely guide, Mayumi: History, architecture, interesting people and wine and food. We had the best of the Portuguese cream custard tarts we had anywhere in the country.! She showed us the old city and the newer. While we went all over, the walk was easy and enjoyable. She gave us lots of ideas for our remaining time in Porto. Also many good restaurants and entertainment places. She shaped the tour to our interests. She is great. She obviously loves her city and shares it with style and grace. The tour is pricey compared to some others but it was only 2 people. I'd suggest that the tours have a minimum of 4-6 people to keep the price more reasonable. 10 Plus Tour with Mayumi Vidler.

Our experience with Mayumi was absolutely terrific! Her knowledge of Portugal and Lisbon was a delight when combined with her thoughtful food and drink selections. She clearly has a passion for her work and has a wonderful connection with all of her food partners! Anyone who chooses Mayumi as a a guide will have an amazing food tour experience!!Best food tour ever!

Our group of 7 had a wonderful tour with Mayumi last Friday, April 4th. She was very knowledgeable and knew the history of Porto extremely well. She was also fun and very engaging and we loved spending the day with her. She accommodated our needs and was very flexible. She was easy to understand and answered all of our questions. She even spent more time with us than we planned so that she could walk us to the train station and the market so we wouldn’t get lost. And to top it off she treated us to the famous pastel de nata halfway through the tour to give us a sugar boost. We loved our tour and highly recommend mayumi if you’re looking for a tour in Porto. We fell in love with Porto!

Mayumi was the best tour guide that we've had. Period. Extremely knowledge about all aspects of the city and made the tour comfortable, interesting and enjoyable. Could not recommend the tour more highly - just book a tour with her, you won't regret it!Amazing Tour with Mayumi.

We had a fantastic walking tour of Porto with our guide, Mayumi. She was absolutely lovely—warm, welcoming, and full of knowledge about the city and its rich history. Her passion for Porto really came through. Mayumi had a great way of making the tour both informative and fun, highlighting little details we would’ve missed and sharing interesting stories along the way. Our food and wine tour with Mayumi was fantastic! Her knowledge and enthusiasm for the wine, food, and culture of Porto made this night very special for all of us. We had a blast with Mayumi, tasted some delicious foods and drinks, and went to places we never would have discovered on our own. She even sent us recommendations for meals and events on our trip both before and after the tour which was incredibly helpful! We 100% recommend this tour with Mayumi! Mayumi was so great. She had so much knowledge to share and it was clear how much she loved her job and got our group so excited for our time in Porto. She gave us lots of recommendations and was incredibly responsive following the tour when we had further questions which was above and beyond what we expected. I would 10/10 recommend and I am already recommending her to family and friends.
