My wife and I were very lucky to have Melisa as our tour guide for a custom Cusco city area tour. Melisa was not just a guide but an ambassador to the wonderful culture and history of Cusco. Melisa was very prompt in her responses before the tour. I requested that she add San Pedro market to the tour and she was able to accommodate. Her communication via WhatApp before we arrived in Cusco included tips on how to handle the altitude sickness and also to make sure that we have arrived safely. On the day of the tour, she was at our hotel early and we were off to a wonderful and insightful tour of the city. Without going into details of each area, I felt that Melisa timed everything perfectly. Spending a significant amount of time at the biggest and significant archeological sites. Each site, she provided the background, history, and the cultural significance. Her connection with the area is felt through her explanations and you can feel the pride she has in showing off Cusco. Her tour of San Pedro was exactly what I was hoping for. A local that knows the vendors and can provide an explanation. We were able to sample the delicious fruits at the market and also quite a few other items. Even as the tour was running long, Melisa did not take any short cuts. She made sure that we got everything we asked for and more! Melisa is definitely a guide I would recommend highly for Cusco and its surrounding. Her language skills were impeccable. Her warmth and kindness was genuine and you just feel like you have a friend in a new city. A wonderful ambassador to Cusco!!

Melisa’s many years as a guide is obvious in her knowledge and understanding of the Incans, their way of life, belief systems, etc. Not only that, but she knew how to plan the day so that we avoided the crowds of tourists visiting the sites! We also found her to be a very kind person-someone very easy to spend the entire day with. In addition, she went above and beyond to help us with some plans we had for later in the week that had nothing to do with her! She really cares and helps people have a good experience in the Sacred Valley. We’ve already sent some friends her way, and will let everyone we know know about her!We had an amazing experience with Melisa!

We took the Cusco tour with Melissa. Melissa was so friendly and accommodating to our needs. She was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and the time we spent with her was very good. Melissa went out of her way to help and give tips for our next day trip as well. I highly recommend Melissa as your tour guide if you ever visit Cusco and machu Pichu. Melissa was wonderful!!

This tour was absolutely wonderful and Melissa was a fantastic guide. She was very engaging and knowledgeable about the sites and history of the area. The car was comfortable and our driver was good. Melissa kept things fun and never boring even in the long car rides. I highly recommend this tour and Melissa.
