Mariel is perhaps the best tour guide I have ever had because she has a deep knowledge of the history of Mexico and presents the information with great curiosity. The tour left me wanting to know more about this beautiful city. The pacing of the tour was just right. At no time did I feel rushed. We had considerable dialogue around both present day México as well as recent history and both the Mayan and Aztec cultures. She is a gem.Superb

Muriel was a wonderful guide for our tour of the historic areas of CDMX. We saw so many sites and learned a lot about all different eras of CDMX’s long history. Mariel's tour of the centro historico was very fun and we'd do it again. She had interesting insights and several places that were off the beaten track (much of the centro is well-traveled). She was full of information and positive energy. We would have gladly paid the entry fee to get fully inside some of the places we visited but didn't enter. E.g., the post office building (which now charges an entry fee) or the Bella Artes murals (we just got into the lobby). And it would have been good to have a bit more time to look around the Zocalo (which might have been accomplished by walking and talking rather than sitting and talking). Mariel's a lovely person and deserves the solid accolades. Mariel is Terrific

Mariel was extremely personable and fun to be around as she took us around the city center. Very informative and provided a very cool perspective on the history of Mexico and Mexico City. Cannot recommend her enough. Well worth your time!You have to tour w Mariel!

This is my review: We went on a tour led by Mariel. She was an extremely knowledgeable and personable guide. She provided excellent descriptions of the history of the different peoples who occupied the areas around Mexico City and interesting information about how Mexico City restoration evolved. I liked that her descriptions were easy to understand but not overly basic. We had lots of questions, and Mariel always had highly informative and interesting answers. We would not have learned or appreciated as much Mexican history without having Mariel as a guide, so I am very glad we took this tour. I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in history and who is considering visiting the Centro Historical Area of Mexico City.Best tourguide of our trip!
