Mariel was amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable about history, so easy to be with and extremely kind. My 6yo daughter loved her too! She navigated the city with ease and made us feel so comfortable. An absolute pleasure and recommend 10/10 ❤️Best tour guide!

Mariel was so fun and knowledgeable! She took 3 of us around and showed us a regular neighborhood that wasn’t touristy and had solid good food. She shared so much information and made great recommendations for us first timers in Mexico City! If you are looking for high end posh food this isn’t it. If you want local eateries with authentic flair. This is your tour! Mariel was like traveling with a girlfriend and made the experience so fun. Fun Taco Tour

Mariel was an amazing tour guide! She is well studied, very knowledgeable, articulate, and has a deep appreciation for her country's heritage and culture. And she was extremely kind and fun to spend a morning with! While she speaks great English, we opted to have her do the tour in Spanish (we are conversational in Spanish but not fluent) and we could understand her perfectly. But when we needed clarification, she was easily able to explain in English. Would highly recommend!!¡Muy excelente!

Mariel was an excellent guide. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind and personable, and knew the area intimately. We felt that we had a much better appreciation for the history, art, architecture and culture after our tour of the Centro Historico with her.

We were delighted to do our tour of historic Mexico City downtown with Mariel (Highlights and hidden gems of Mexico City). She was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and friendly. Her command of English was awesome. She brought her background as a social anthropologist to bear on the exposition. It was a great introduction to our son's new adopted city. In fact, we liked Mariel so much that we gave her our son's contact information so they could become acquainted and he could make a new friend!Delightful tour guide of Mexico City

Mariel was a great tour guide. We learned a lot about the history of the city and Mexico, and also were able to ask a lot of questions about the culture and traditions. Mariel was also gracious enough to let us reach out with questions after the tour, which we did, and she was very responsive! Highly recommend. Great tour!

We had a really wonderful time with Mariel learning about Mexican food. As we are really interested in history she tailored our tour to learn SO much about Mexico City and its culture too - she has terrific history and anthropology knowledge . Mariel gave a wonderful tour of a historic barrio that also happened to be her home. She provided a tour, a history lesson, a spanish class, and a lovely disposition! Highly recommend!Bonus spanish lesson
