After working for 15y in hotel sales and several travel agencies I've decided it's time to once again engage in more personal approach in tourism - guiding.

I was born and raised in Dubrovnik, survived the war as a 10 y. old and can tell stories trough the eyes & perspective of a child.

In my free time I love to spend time outdoors, taking long walks with my family & dog.

Exercising has been my daily routine and source of endorphin for years.

I find travelling and meeting new people very inspiring and essential for open mindedness. I am also a volunteer child birth educator in an NGO."

I spent a lovely afternoon learning so much about the city and people of Dubrovnik both past and present. Mia gave me several recommendations for restaurants as well as which shops sold authentic Croatian products. Our time ended with coffee and cakes and some wonderful conversation. I highly recommend this walking tour!!!Awesome experience

What an amazing time we spent with Mia! She is extremely knowledgeable, charming, and fun to listen to. We heard and learned so much. She provided an in-depth historic timeline and provided amazing insights and stories, even her personal experience of the war. We also enjoyed spending some relaxing conversation time with her in a restaurant, and she provided us with useful tips for restaurants and excursions. We warmheartedly and wholeheartedly recommend Mia. But beware: she is now (end of December) taking reservations for next October! :-)Wow!

We had an early morning tour of old town with Mia and it was well worth it. Early is good because you miss the cruise ship crowds. She provided us with recommendations for lunch in old town as well as the greater Dubrovnik region which were exceptional. Her knowledge of the history of the area was great and we learnt a lot from the tour. She provided us with a local snack and a coffee which was great to fuel us for the walk. Best way to see the city centre in a small group setting. Great Fun with Mia

Mis was great about contacting us immediately upon our reservation and again shortly before we arrived. On our one day in Dubrovnik we met Mia and got her unique perspective along with some ancient and recent history of the city. She is very energetic and upbeat, intelligent and easy to talk with. I saw another review on the withlocals site that mentioned croissants so I noted that my husband really liked chocolate croissants and she did bring us some fantastic treats!!Dubrovnik walk through

We landed in Dubrovnik on a Saturday for a week, so Mia's walk on the Monday morning was perfect! The thunderstorms luckily held off and it was a real joy - history of the city, the '91 war, restaurants and the best place to get ice cream!! Thank you Mia - perfect!! Lovely introduction to Dubrovnik!
