Hi there! Nice to meet you

I'm a tourism industry professional, above all very energetic and talkative, which is you will agree, a highly useful trait in this line of work. I'm in tourism since 2002; after spending 15y in hotel sales and travel agencies I've decided it's time to once again engage in more personal approach in tourism -guiding.

I was born and raised in Dubrovnik, survived the war as a 10 y. old and can tell those stories trough the eyes & perspective of a child.

I love to spend time outdoors, taking long walks with my family & dog. Exercising has been my daily routine and source of endorphin for years.

I find travelling and meeting new people very inspiring and essential for open mindedness. I am also a volunteer child birth educator in an NGO and member of women's rights network.

I enjoy being a good conversationalist so I only do private tours.

I've never seen GOT show (rare occurrence,I know) and I do not have Instagram so will take you places where I like to hang out, locally owned businesses and not flashy instagrammables. :)

We(6 friends) had the pleasure of participating in Mia's guided morning tour in Dubrovnik, and it was an experience we will never forget. Mia excelled with her impressive knowledge and inspiring communication skills - she told the story with empathy, commitment and a real love for the city. An extra nice surprise was when she served coffee and delicious croissants during a short break. It created a warm and personal atmosphere that made the tour even more special. We give Mia our very best recommendations - she is a fantastic guide who really takes the experience to a new level. Thank you so much, Mia!Wounderful morning tour with Mis

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Mia. She was a wonderful guide and even brought us homemade chocolate crescents from her home town to snack on. Her knowledge of Dubrovnik is vast and she is so kind. We highly recommend her! Wonderful morning tour

We loved our tour with Mia! First, she was very flexible in accommodating changes same day due to weather. Two, she adapted our tour to be a mix of the history of Dubrovnik and the change in political regime with the fall of Yugoslavia and the war, because we were very interested in learning about those years. She gave us tips on where to go based on our interest and local restaurants/stores. I certainly recommend arriving with a lot of curiosity because she knows so much and she explains it in a way that is simple and easy to remember. Thank You Mia!Learned so much!

We met Mia for an early private tour and were so glad she was our guide. Her personal experience of living in Dubrovnik really bought the history to life. Her insights into the history and current people living in such a beautiful place were interesting, allowing us to see it through a locals eyes. She gave us some great tips for the rest of our holiday which all proved great recommendations. Highly recommend her if you are looking for a guide. Really bought history to life

Mia was brilliant and put us at ease with her knowledge and obvious passion for Dubrovnik. We spent the first 45 mins talking through the wonderful history of Dubrovnik and then we visited a couple of different venues to try a variety of locally produced wines. Must admit, I hadn’t realised that Croatia produced so many wines and the ones we tried were all amazing. We even tried an orange wine…we enjoyed talking to Mia about our backgrounds and the 3 hours went by in a flash, which is credit to Mia for making us feel comfortable. Mia also gave us a few tips about other parts of Dubrovnik to visit, which we certainly took advantage of during the rest of our stay. Mia was excellent, don’t hesitate to book this tour whilst in Dubrovnik. Great evening with Mia

We had a great tour with Mia. She has fantastic knowledge about her city and just a lovely and lively way to share all her insights and experiences. Besides this, we simply had a great time with her with delicious croissants and coffee. Mia also shared a lot of tipps and insights with us for the remaining days of our stay. We can highly recommend Mia as a host. Start your tour as early as possible in the morning!! Mia‘s chocolate croissant and coffee will wake you up and you will enjoy a quiet tour before the crowds invade the city. Great host - special tipps included

We met Mia on time at 7am. Over the next 2 hours Mia gave us a fascinating insight into the history of Dubrovnik. Mia pointed things we would have missed or simply not even noticed. We had a coffee stop and Mia provided chocolate croissants from her local bakery. By 10.00 the cruise ship crowd started to arrive and Dubrovnik started to fill up - an early start was the best decision. Mia also provided us with information about walks by our hotel and restaurants- all of which we have subsequently done/visited. A great couple of hours- thank you Mia2hr Walk Tour Dubrovnik- Early Start
