We really do enjoy the food tours by Withlocals. We had such a fun afternoon with Miguel in Porto! I just 3 hours, we went to so many unique places and sampled so many unusual local delicacies! Miguel was wonderful. He picked us up early from our hotel in Lisbon, customized a day in Sintra, including coffee at his favorite cafe, and got us to the airport in time for our flight. He was personable and entertaining. His knowledge of Portugal is incredible.Miguel was wonderful

Miguel picked us up right on time (he was early) and was so enjoyable ! He arranged for our luggage to be transported ahead of our group to alleviate the stress of managing it throughout the tour. We saw Pena Palace and he provided the local history. He arranged the tickets and made sure we knew where to go and when to be there. Our time in Sintra was beautiful and the pastries along the way were delicious! He is an excellent guide and so accommodating. I highly recommend a day tour with Miguel!!Perfect Day!

Great tour with Miguel. Very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable of history and organized to avoid tourist crowds. Kindly accommodated our requests to customize our day and went out of his way to help. Great restaurant recommendation too!

I had a fantastic tour of Lisbon with Miguel! He was incredibly friendly and easy-going, which made the experience so enjoyable. His knowledge of the city’s history is impressive, and he took the time to answer all my questions — even diving deeper into the topics I was most passionate about. It felt like exploring Lisbon with a friend who truly loves the city. Highly recommended!Could not have wished for better!

Words can't fully describe how wonderful the tour to Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais was. We did several tours on our Portugal vacation, but our tour guide, Miguel Alves, made this tour stand out from the rest. The sites we toured were breathtaking, but Miguel's detailed knowledge of each site was mind-boggling. Miguel studied history, and his passion and pride for Portugal were evident. He showed us the tiniest of details that we know other tour groups didn't even notice. He kept us out longer than scheduled, for which we were very grateful. We will tell EVERY person we know to connect with Miguel when they travel. When we return, we'd love to do another Porto and Douro tour, but with Miguel. Thank you!Miguel is THE BEST tour guide we've had!
