We had a single day in Palermo before we began an organized bike tour. Michelango was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. He skillfully navigated us around some key attractions. We had a delightful four hours with Michelangelo touring central Palermo. Michelangelo was prompt, accommodating, and full of information and insights. We had a leisurely walk through highlights of old Palermo, highlighted by a stop for a street food sampler in a very non-touristed corner of the city. A very good intro to Palermo. Delightful Palermo

Absolutely a great experience to get introduced to Palermo by Michelangelo! He's a a very plesant local with a big heart, knowledgeable about history AND what's going on today in this intriguing city. Four full hours of facts and legends! An aspect of familiarity we fondly embraced as well, as he communicates in perfect French. A very generous "geek", altogether.😊Great intro to Palermo!

Michelangelo was super responsive before our appointment, and he was on time when we met, and incredibly easy, friendly, knowledgeable. He seems to know how to meet people at their level and communicates easily and in a very open way. He provided a comprehensive overview of Palermo that laid the groundwork for our own independent explorations to follow. Highly recommended.A wonderful overview with great surprises.

Michelangelo was a fantastic guide and provided a nice overview of Palermo. Being a private tour, we were able to concentrate on an area outside of where we were staying to help us get a broader overview of the city. I really appreciated the way Michelangelo described the history of Palermo, it helped us understand the blending of cultures and how it came to be. The culinary tour with Michelangelo was definitely the highlight of our stay in Palermo. It felt like a relaxed walk with a friend. Michelangelo showed us many traditional and very delicious dishes and was attentive to our wishes. At the same time, we learned many interesting facts about the city. I booked a visit with Michelangelo as a gift for my parents. They are not very young anymore unfortunately, so I was looking for someone patient, considerate and professional. My parents were overjoyed with their experience ! Michelangelo speaks French perfectly, is very kind and knowledgeable and even spent extra time with my parents. It was their first day in Palermo and therefore the perfect start to their trip. They ended up doing much more than was initially planned because the visit was so interesting and they did t feel tired at any point. I highly recommend Michelangelo ! A walk in Palermo

To say that Michelangelo was an excellent would be such an understatement it would be insulting. Booking this tour with him was by far the best decision I could have made for my single day in Palermo (and I deeply regret only giving myself one day here). I had the joy of booking Michelangelo all to myself and it truly felt like I’d hired a friend for the day to show me around rather than a stranger. He read my adventurous vibe right out of the gate, always discussed the ingredients and my thoughts about trying something new, gave me the opportunity to have small portions so I could try as many things as possible before feeling so full I was going to burst, and was conscious of my desire not to waste food where possible. He gave great recommendations but also let me pursue food interests outside those recommendations and he pushed me to try new things in a friendly, no-pressure way. He took more circuitous routes when I expressed an interest in history and architecture, and never rushed me to eat faster or made me feel awkward about eating while someone watched you lol. We spent an amazing afternoon having out, eating great food, talking about travel, recommendations, culture, language, and whatever else came to mind. I had time after the tour to explore more of the city and by that point I felt like I had so much more context for the people and sights, and was so comfortable, that I was dancing around the city (sometimes literally - no regrets!) jamming out on my AirPods and taking photos for several hours while I walked off all the food. I could not recommend spending an afternoon with Michelangelo highly enough! Come with an open mind for new food and an about stomach and you will have a brilliant and unique experience in this gorgeous city. Thank you so much Michelangelo for spending such an amazing day with me! I loved every moment of it! (Even that really weird kinda-gross soda that you like. Upon further reflection, I stand by my assessment that it’s not awful, it is drinkable, but man is it a weird-bitter-sweet flavor!) Until we meet again, ciao!The Best Decision I Could Have Made
