Miriam

Hello, I am Miriam, a passionate traveller Spanish woman.

I came back to Spain two years ago, after 18 years away from my country.

I left my home town, San Sebastian (Basque Country), for continuing my marketing studies in Madrid. Two years later I went to Italy for a three months experience, and finished living there for 11 years. I enjoyed organizing weddings for foreigners amongs other jobs as event manager there.

The destiny brought me to South Africa and spent 7 years there. I loved the mixed cultures and started teaching Spanish online.

Three years ago, I moved back to Spain with my two sons (11 and 15 years old now), 6 suitcases and a lot of enthusiasm for getting to know Málaga, an international sunny city, with beautiful beaches and vibrant life.

In all these years away I enjoyed discovering the little and big gems of every place I visited, so I am happy now to be able to accompany others to do so.

I enjoy reading, hiking, ecstatic dance and biodanza.

Miriam was a wonderful guide. The three hours flashed by, we had fun walking through the old town to Picasso square, then to the Roman theatre, Alcazaba and the Cathedral. We loved the tasting, the fish market and the beach. Miriam gave us great restaurant and other sight-seeing tips. Highly recommend this tour with Miriam. A joyful tour

Had a great city tour with Miriam. She knew so much about the city. As we walked around she told us so much about what we saw and knowing that we ran late from the Picasso Museum, she made sure to stop for two snacks (highly recommend the horchata drink and the empanada, not what I thought it was going to be but absolutely delicious) and showed us some other yummy stops for later. Took us all around from the city center through the beautiful park and down to the beach....plenty of Instagram worthy pics along the wayGreat city tour

Miriam was our guide for all of our trip to Malaga. I cannot imagine a better guide than her. She was not only a great listener, she was proactive and super well organised. She managed things very well for us, anticipated our needs and felt the needs of the group very well Beyond that, she was super fun to deal with. Our large group loved her and gave me very good feedback about the whole experience. I hope to be back in Malaga soon and to stay in touch with her What a great guide!

We had a lovely food tour with Miriam in Malaga. Miriam’s so knowledgable about the city, it’s history, places to go, restaurants and tavernas to eat at and all the parks and museums which has made the rest of our break here so easy to visit the best places. The food tour itself was wonderful eating at the lovely places, some off the beaten track and others in the top 10 restaurants to visit. The food was very tasty as was the wine and beer. Miriam was lovely and chatty and her English is brilliant. We highly recommend a tour with Miriam. Loveky food tour in Malaga

We had the very lovely and knowledgeable Miriam as our guide and she was fabulous. Would recommend to anyone to do a tour early in their stay as Miriam was able to give us insider knowledge about best places to eat, see etc. tours are private so we were able to adapt to what we liked.
