This was an excellent tour and Marta was a great guide. So informative. When we told her we were coming off a cruise ship she met us at the port. We saw lots of sights which places the cruise tours would not see including the National Bank with the Gaucho exhibition. We sampled local coffee and delicacies which was a great time to chat to Marta and find out more about Montevideo and Uruguay. As this was a private tour for two we had no problems hearing the guide or asking questions. It really helped that Mirta was so knowledgeable. A huge success and highly recommended. Mirtha planned great tasting samples of Uruguayan food & drink under difficult circumstances since she had to do it on a Sunday when many places are closed. She also took me to the important places to see in Montevideo & gave me the background & history. Since I had been here before she took that under consideration in making her choices. She was very adaptive since my husband was unwell that day & did not come with me for the tour as had been planned. She made it easy to locate her & her driver was very good.Lovely time in Montevideo

There is nothing to compare with having a guide like Mirtha. It was great to be taken to special places in the city and to hear stories of life now and in the past. Mirtha was punctual, knowledgeable and a caring guide. Highly recommended!Fabulous experience

What a most enjoyable, informative 4 hour tour of Montevideo with Mirtha. She was so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her city and surrounding area. We had our tour with Lían as Mirtha had a doctors appointment at the time we booked (both communicated proactively and quickly to resolve this situation). Lían gave a great tour with a very relaxed vibe, lots of tasty food and interesting information about Montevideo and Uruguay. Recommend!Great food tour in Montevideo

Mirtha created a multi day program for us that was perfect. She is so knowledgeable about the history, politics, and culture of UY and shares it with enthusiasm . Every day went like clockwork as a result of her attention to detail and having a plan a and plan b. She is fun to be with as you drive around the country. The cheese store, Cobo Polonia Natl Park, the winery-all places we wouldn't have gone without her. Perfect English. Our 10 Tastings of Montevideo with Mirtha was the best day of our 18 day cruise. Mirtha is engaging, informative, and was eager to listen to our questions and adjusted her schedule to respond to our interests.
