We had our tour with Lían as Mirtha had a doctors appointment at the time we booked (both communicated proactively and quickly to resolve this situation). Lían gave a great tour with a very relaxed vibe, lots of tasty food and interesting information about Montevideo and Uruguay. Recommend!Great food tour in Montevideo

Mirtha created a multi day program for us that was perfect. She is so knowledgeable about the history, politics, and culture of UY and shares it with enthusiasm . Every day went like clockwork as a result of her attention to detail and having a plan a and plan b. She is fun to be with as you drive around the country. The cheese store, Cobo Polonia Natl Park, the winery-all places we wouldn't have gone without her. Perfect English. Our 10 Tastings of Montevideo with Mirtha was the best day of our 18 day cruise. Mirtha is engaging, informative, and was eager to listen to our questions and adjusted her schedule to respond to our interests. She is well informed and shared her knowledge of Uruguay, it’s history and culture. The food and the venues were excellent. Mirtha was a wonderful guide for the city and country she obviously loves. She not only pointed interesting sites, but made sure we understood their role in history and their contribution to what Montevideo and Uruguay are today. Mirtha introduced us to three special places in the food world of Montevideo, having us taste many specialities. The port market was delightful, so much so that we returned on our own the next day to the same place (which mixes many locals with the tourists). Mirtha also shared her local knowledge of other restaurants and sites not to be missed. We followed her advice and went to the Gaucho Museum, and Garcia where we finally had the steak that everyone raves about. All in all a very fun day and good and easy introduction to Montevideo and all it has to offer.Fun day exploring Uruguayan food and more
