I am masters in Indian history specialised in Medieval part. I am working as a licensed tour guide since 2010 have license from ministry of tourism and cultural government of India.

My license gives me permission to go inside the monuments with travelers; so that I can explain the history and architecture in details. My objective is to provide the most worthwhile, enriching, interesting tour experience for my valuable tourists. Here together we will share our knowledge and experience about the life, history, architecture, people, religion, secularism, colors, languages and dresses. I will introduce the rich culture of my country in a very interesting way, telling you legendary tales and will also help you in photography, whenever you look behind to enjoy your beautiful memories in free moments of life you will remember me too :)

Every time, I go away from my country, my love towards my country and city increases more and more, I miss the petrichor of India and Taj a lot. Monika was amazing. Not only did she share the history of the Taj Mahal and Agra but was also the one in the know on how to take the best pictures. A true local she even took us to an amazing place for breakfast overlooking the Taj and the most amazing food. I would definitely recommend booking Monika. A history teacher and photograher in one!

Monika is a very experienced and a knowledgeable guide. Thanks to her, I could develop a deeper interest in the history and the monumental of the city like never before. She takes utmost care for personal attention, is very friendly and has loads of anecdotes to share. Also she is a history buff and it was pleasure to exchange notes with her. Monika showed us around Agra for a day in June 2024. It was hot, so we started early at the Taj and Red Fort, and followed up with Monika in the evening for a trip to the local market and dinner. A great experience and I would thoroughly recommend Monika as a guide (and as a bonus, she helped us take some great photo's, too!)Fantastic Agra Experience

One of my best friends and I booked Monika for a tour of the Taj Mahal and Monika ensured we had a seamless and spectacular experience! She is a great photographer as well as a great guide and we continued our day at Agra Fort - stopping for the best chai of our trip on the way - and then headed for breakfast and shopping. Monika has single handedly changed my friend's belief that guides are not necessary as Monika was so knowledgeable and great company! Lovely Day

Monika's energy level was welcomed and appreciated on such an early day! Her positivity was infectious. She had an extensive knowledge of history and of getting around the city.
