I'm Monse from Mexico, and I have the pleasure of calling Kanazawa City my second home. I have been living here as a PhD student for 5 years. We had a very enjoyable time on our walking tour with Monse . She is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We had a private tour and she changed things a bit to suit us . She was enthusiastic and informative and we covered the main sights . We would certainly recommend her as a guide . Walking in Kanasawa

Monse tailored the tour around our food preferences as well as the local sights we had already seen. She had detailed knowledge of Kanazawa’s history and culture. She had great recommendations for foods to try and we were lucky to try foods at the Sakura festival. Monse was super laid back, had a great sense of humour and friendly.Experienced with knowledge

We had such a wonderfull day with Monse. She is talented in many, many ways. Her enthousiastic energy and extensive knowledge of Kanazawa’s history, culture and nature is amazing. Not to forget her love for the sublime Japanse street food. We had a perfect day! Arigato. Monse is the best! ❤️

Our day with Monse was very interesting, varied and entertaining. Monse is a very pleasant and friendly guide and was able to enthusiastically introduce us to the highlights of Kanazama. She was perfectly organized, has profound knowledge of the region, is humorous and communicative, and is flexible in accommodating individual requests. Long story short: We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. Highly recommended!Wonderful day in Kanazawa

We had a really incredibly fun, interesting and knowledgable day! Monse managed to go above and beyond and tailor our tour specifically to us! She managed to see all the highlights of Kanazawa, including experiencing a tea ceremony. Lunch recommendation was also extremely tasty (black curry) which was delicious! We would highly recommend Monse! Excellent, tailor made tour!

We had a great day with Monse who met us outside the Omicho Market. We toured the market, the castle, the nearby gardens, and the saumari area. Learned a lot about Kanazawa's history and also about the city in it's present state. Very informative and fun.Informative walking tour

We had an incredible time on our food tour with Monse. We had two teens and two vegetarians in our group, and she was able to curate a thoughtful and engaging tour for our group. We did a number of food tours while in Japan, and we all felt that the quality of food and experiences on this one was the best. Not only is she knowledgeable about Kanazawa cuisine, she is also really fun to hang out with and chat. She also gave us several shopping and dining recommendations, and called a few restaurants to try to make reservations on our behalf. Also, as a sidenote, my daughter broke her leg just before the trip, and Monse was very mindful of that and retooled our tour to accommodate her. Monse is a personable & thoughtful guide

My husband and I were on vacation for a week trying to see the real Japan. We saw this tour and didn't know what to expect. We were very happy with the experience. Monse is very knowledgeable and has gone to great lengths to learn about the entire city so she could give us the BEST experience. We learned things we never would have known, saw sites we never would have seen without her, and even found some cute and one-of-a-kind souvenirs thanks to her! We were SO happy with the experience, and we HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge and experience in Kanazawa!Amazing Experience!

We had really just one day in Kanazawa so we booked our tour with Monse for as soon as we got in. I'm so glad we did! Monse was so much fun to be around and she knew so much of the rich history. She's really great, ten out of ten, would recommend!Perfect
