Muhammed was fantastic! Knowledgeable, kind, prompt, and just a wonderful guide to the city. We left the tour full in our bellies, more knowledgeable of the city and culture, and with a wonderful day under our belt. A great guide to the city!

Firstly I was charged for 4 and there were only 2 of us. Secondly, the guide changed at the last Minute to a guide I did not select. The tour was supposed to be 90 minutes and he cut out after 60 minutes. He did t really show us around anywhere. We walked up a hill to see the view but no history was given. Just the questions we asked answered. Would definitely not recommend this tour to anyone. This wqs a complete ripoff

We decided to start our adventure in Istanbul with a food tour on day 1 to give us some insights into the culture. Disappointingly our host Sozum cancelled with 10 minutes notice, but to our delight Muhammed stepped in at the last minute. As a 22 year old he interacted wonderfully with an Australian couple in their late 60’s. The tour was excellent and led us to many experiences that we would never have been game to try.we couldn’t thank Mohammed enough. He is an excellent host and a wonderful person to spend time with!Ask for Muhammed!

Muhammad was a a great guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging and took us on a half day tour focusing on the Asian side of Istanbul and some of the old city highlights. He was very flexible and able to easily adjust to some last minute requests. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch - one of his great recommendations. Despite having limited time with a half day, it was a really memorable day and introduction into this fascinating city. Excellent Guide

Muhammed was a great guide - led us through a great selection of Istanbul foods, explained differences between all the different kebabs and left us with extremely(!) full stomachs and great recommendations for where else to eat. 10/10 recommend!Great food tour with Muhammed

We had an incredible time exploring Istanbul — from iconic sights to unforgettable meals — but the absolute highlight was the 4 hours we spent with Muhammed in Kadıköy. Muhammed was a phenomenal guide. His deep knowledge of Turkish culture and genuine passion for the local cuisine made the experience truly special. He took us to hidden gems we never would have found on our own, each stop offering authentic, absolutely delicious food. His English was excellent, and he immediately built a great rapport with everyone in our 12-person group. It felt less like a tour and more like spending the afternoon with a very well-connected local friend. Thank you, Muhammed, for a truly unforgettable experience!Muhammed was the highlight of Istanbul

We had a 24 hour layover in Istanbul and thought that if we wanted to make the most of it, we should get a tour guide. That’s when we found this site and Muhammed who was available to book a tour with us that afternoon. We didn’t have time to do his typical tour so he worked with us to curate a tour that fit our needs and wants. Thanks again Muhammed for showing us your beautiful city! When our planned weekend in Istanbul was cut short to only one day, we were fortunate to find Muhammad on withlocals.com. We connected Sunday morning and I told him we only had that same day and we wanted to see as much as possible! I was relieved when Muhammad was up to the task and was willing to spend the entire afternoon showing us around. The Blue Mosque was a must but then we made our way to more local spots (spice market, pastry shop, etc), wrapping up with a Bosphorus boat cruise. He took incredible photos on the boat tour and a beautiful family photo with our children. This was a great introduction to Istanbul, thanks Muhammad !!Last-minute Istanbul
