My husband and I had a great time with Mohammed. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city & it's history and is great at storytelling. He is jovial, open minded and genuine. He took us to great food spots as well and hung out pretty late. I would highly recommend spending time with him to get to know Istanbul better :)Mohammed is awesome!

My friend and I share a passion for food, though our dietary needs differ significantly. She's a vegetarian, while I enjoy meat. Her taste buds crave bold spices, while I prefer milder flavors. After sharing our preferences with Muhammed, he crafted an exceptional food tour tailored perfectly to our tastes. Since we’re both steering clear of sweets at the moment, instead of the traditional Turkish treats, he took us to a charming bakery that offered a croissant and fruit platter. We indulged in juicy pomegranate and other fresh fruits alongside a warm, flaky croissant. The experience was delightful, enhanced by learning about local history and savoring contemporary Turkish dishes from the Asian side of the Bosphorus.Muhammed was the best!

Mohamed es un joven muy servicial y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Recorre un barrio de alto nivel en Estambul, destacándose por la calidad y variedad de su propuesta. Muhammed is a smart guy who is studying to get his degree, but I think it says it all about his passion and knowledge for the food and culture of Turkey that he plans to continue being a guide after he graduates. He has done hundreds of tours and grew up in Istanbul so he knows the city very well. I was the only person on my tour so I had an even more special experience - tasting of wide variety of foods and discussing an even broader set of cultural and political topics with Muhammed. Muhammed was a great tour guide with lots of history and knowledge about the best places for an array of local Turkish favorites. It also gives you a good idea of the cost of food in Istanbul AWAY from Sultanahmet. Come hungry and enjoy! Do this tour early on your visit

As two ex-chefs Mohamed was very flexible at accommodating our food tasting wishes . He also gave us some great restaurant recommendations for our time in Istanbul. His knowledge of the food snd its history was comprehensive. Fantastic food knowledge
