I am a mother of 3 kids (all grown up now) and have lived, worked and raised a family in historic Kilmainham just a few moments from Dublin city. I like to spend time with people and listen to their experiences. I am naturally curious, which has allowed me to get to know all the hidden jems in Dublin. I am easy going who has travelled around Europe and an avid book reader who loves to share stories. I'm passionate about people and it gives me a great sense of pride sharing the history and culture of Dublin. I'm blessed to be a story teller and it gives me great pleasure offering people a "Cead Mile Filte" "1,000 welcomes" to Dublin the capital city of Ireland. I know a lot of stories about Dublin such as Molly Malone and also from Irish and Celtic mythology. As a real foodie I have an excellent overview of the bars and restaurants in Dublin. It will give me great pleasure recommending the different options depending on your tastes. Dublin has a lot to offer from the beautiful parklands of the Pheonix Park, beaches of Malahide and historic setting of Dublin Castle. Mydie was a wonderful local host! Despite it being a non-traditional booking with just me traveling solo, Mydie was fun, engaging, and knowledgeable about Dublin and the history of Ireland. She has a delightful personality and I truly enjoyed our entire three hours together! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to tour Dublin and the great eating spots for a fun few hours! Mydie took us along on an exiting and highly informative trip across the Center of Dublin. With her as Tourguide we really got a great view not only of the interesting places of Dublin, but also got some insight into everyday life. She herself is an interesting person - who cares for the opinion and perspective of her group. What an informative day!

Mydie is an excellent guide and took great pride in showing us her city and telling us of its history. The tour was well paced and we went to interesting locations important to Irish history. Mydie provided a great commentary and gave us insights into places to go to further our Irish experience such as good pubs with Irish music. We recommend this tourWell paced and interesting tour

We had a great tour with Mydie. We got to learn all sorts of history of Ireland and Dublin and eat delicious food. We were so full by the end! And Mydie was amazingly fun and informative. We can't think of a better way to have spent an afternoon.Perfect tour in Dublin

We had a wonderful day and that was most delightful also very good weather in Dublin. In these circumstances really nothing could go wrong. Mydie showed us the town and parts of the seaside and told us a lot about history of the 20th century in Irland. We enjoyed that a lot and departed after several drinks in a pub in a very good mood. Great tour! Just our party of 4 with our tour guide Mydie who was wonderful! We did a leisurely tour for 3 hours with lots of great food and lots of great history. A wonderful way to see the sights of Dublin and all the history behind it. We ended at a pub for a pint which was the perfect finish. Would highly recommend, thank you Mydie!Great private tour!!
