Nathan had to cancel the walk due to an injury although did arrange for another guide(Not from With Locals). However, there appeared to have a miscommunication of what was expected since we did not visit the castle or have a drink included. At lunch time when i mentioned this, I was told that we had seen the castle - we did not go inside. I felt that we missed out on a lot of things as the guide rushed us round. Disappointed

We were very positively surprised that Nathan gave us a free ride to various places of interest.We could communicate on all sorts of problems and he gave us a lot of information on history, social and economic facts and cultural developments. All in all an experience we have thoroughly enjoyed.Highly recommendable!

excellant half day tour with Nathan , he picked me up at the hotel and showed me all the sites of Cape Town and went beyond to show me the surrounding area as well. He was very easy to be with and i had a great half daytour of cape town

Nathan picked us (4) on time at the cruise pier and as guide and driver he introduced us to his city Cape Town. Weather was overcast so Table Mountain was not on the list. Instead we had an amazing viewpoint from Signal Hill. Super photo opps and other points on the way down overlooking the beaches and the city. History and background to District 6, City Hall and the present day vibrant and positive climate in the Cape. A visit to the beautiful and colourful Bo-Kaap district Then on to drive through the Clifton area with lovely beaches. Finally a stop at a local restaurant above another beautiful beaches with great pub food and wine/beer offerings. What a beautiful city! Thank you Nathan for sharing your insight and knowledge as well We had a wonderful day!Great intro to Cape Town

Our guide, Nathan, is a Capetonian local who has a clear love for his city and the people in it. He showed us around Bo-Kaap (the old Malay neighborhood), the route up and around Signal Hill, Lionshead and Table Mountain, Clifton and Camps Bay, and the beaches further out into the suburbs. Then we made it into the Brooklyn area for baked goods. At each stop, he gave us both a locals' perspective of the city and a frank reading of the history and development of the country and its people. He didn't shy away from addressing the difficult racial history of South Africa, and we learned a lot from him along the way. Would certainly recommend.Would certainly recommend.

Our city tour with Nathan was wonderful. When he found out we had limited time in Cape Town proper he offered to change the tour so we got to see the best of the best! He's born and raised in Cape Town so he has a unique and limitless knowledge of his city. When our day was winding down, he offered suggestions of what to do next and what to do the next day! Our day with Nathan exceeded our expectations by far! It was great to hear his insights about Cape town and South Africa. He took us to see places that we would not have found ourselves and opened the view to living here. We saw so much more than we expected, especially considering our very short time in Cape town. Nathan is a really nice host that knows a lot about Cape Town. He took us around the centre and to places we would have never found alone.
