I was born and raised in Hungary, and lived, studied and worked over half of my life abroad, in 7 different countries.
Being back to Hungary since 2017, I do what I love, and I just love what I do, sharing my passion with you here and with my own agency, NelliciousTravels.

Nelli gave us a wonderful tour. She was a fountain of knowledge on hungarian history, culture, and good food in budapest. We were more informed and filled with good food by the time we completed our tour. She was also a great resource for recommendations before and even after our tour. We had the best day on this tour. Kata was a delight. We especially loved the food market hall. We managed to get some holiday gifts. Enjoyed the tasting spots and history. Definitely recommend.Delightful Day!

We had an amazing tour with Nelli on our first day in Budapest. We enjoyed the mix of history and cultural information along with a great variety of tasty foods (and drinks) to try. Nelli also gave us great tips for what to see in the city and a place to taste more wine after our tour. We would not hesitate to book another tour with Nelli the next time we are in Budapest!Wonderful introduction to Budapest!

Nelli was a great tour guide. She is enthusiastic and passionate about the local food. We had texted with her prior to the tour and she gave us exactly what we wanted - eat where the locals eat. Our family enjoyed every moment of our food tour with Nelli. Mixing Hungarian history, culture and cuisine, she taught us how to experience the past and the present through food and drink. She is a delightful guide, full of wisdom and good humor. Her tour was the highlight of our trip to Budapest. Fanstastic tour!

Nelli was a fantastic tour guide, very proud and knowledgeable of Hungarian culture and food.
We visited a range of places and learned about the history of Hungarian food and what has shaped it.
We were able to sample various dishes and bought some great products to take home with us!
Overall a great tour which we would recommend if you are in Budapest Great food tour with a knowledgeable guide

Nellie was the BEST food tour guide ! Very informative and fun … with lots of good tastes and very knowledgeable about all things … food and drink ! We definitely want to do a zoom cooking class with her … she knows a lot !

What a wonderful few hours spent with Nelli being shown the food highlights of Budapest. Nelli is wonderful guide, highly engaging, witty, very knowledgeable and great fun to be with, the three hours just flew by!
Nelli gave us some great recommendations for traditional restaurants and an amazing place for coffee and cake (although we had champagne as well) we will definitely contact Nelli next time we come to Budapest and we hope to use one of her zoom cooking classes also.
