Born in East Black Sea region of Turkey and graduated from Konya Selcuk University Tourism and Guiding degree in 2008. I worked at 5 star hotels as Concierge , Guest Relations and Tourist Guiding. As I have my own guiding license by Turkish Ministry of Culture & Tourism, I operate my private walking tours since 2008 in Istanbul. I'm married and have one boy, 2 years old, we inhabit in Istanbul together with my family and also very close to my brothers and sister.

I like to discover hidden gems of Istanbul like museums,shops, sightseeing and restaurants.

I'm a soccer fan and I support GALATASARAY. I try to follow the soccer matches on my off days and spend more time with my family.

What a delightful 6 hours spent with Oguz, on a tour tailored to my preferences and to my abilities. Oguz met me at my hotel, as we had discussed at the time of booking, and we set off to visit sights and areas that were of particular interest to me. Being summer, and given that my mobility is somewhat impacted, we moved at a pace comfortable to me, which I much appreciated, travelling . Oguz's knowledge of such sites as Suleyimane Mosque, the Chora mosaics, and Balat and Ferner added much to the day. We wound up by buying coffee and Turkish Delight at the Spice Bazaar, and stopped along the way for refreshing homemade lemonade! Thank you, Oguz.A Comprehensive and Caring Tour

Oguz was very friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and accommodating! He took us to incredible places off the beaten path and knew all of the history. Having him there to navigate made it so we didn't waste any time, and we would have missed a ton of context and symbolism without him. He helped us to feel safe and confident in going out on our own the next day. Incredible value added to our trip!

Oguz was a wonderful tour guide. We got the start time wrong but he waited an hour for us to arrive. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I would definitely use Oguz again if we are ever able to come back to Istanbul.Great city tour

Oguz met us on our first morning in Istanbul and we are very glad we arranged this tour. We began with an overview of the old city and walking past the major tourist ‘must see’ sites and bazaars and then he took us to some of the lesser visited and very beautiful mosques. Oguz was knowledgeable and friendly and our time with him was a highlight of our visit.Great introduction to Istanbul

Oguz took us to several mosques and he took the time to explain a lot of history. We walked through Fener and Balat. Very interesting. We walked through the market and had lunch in a very local place, which was very nice! We had a great day!Another Istanbul experience

We spent a full day in Istanbul with Oğuz and it was an amazing experience. The tour was well-organized and covered all the major landmarks in a clear and efficient way. One of the highlights was the visit to the Balat district — a charming, authentic neighborhood full of character that we might have missed without a local guide. A huge bonus of touring with Oğuz is the ability to skip the lines at the city's main monuments, which saved us a lot of time. He was knowledgeable, punctual, and very friendly. We toured the gems of Istanbul with Oguz. He met us at our hotel and guided us to the Blue Mosque and Arasofya. Immediately, I was impressed with his depth of knowledge and his arrangement of guiding us through the sites. Unfortunately, we only made it halfway through the tour when I had a medical issue and had to be transported to a local hospital. Oguz proved to be even more amazing as he went with us and ensured my wife had the support needed to navigate a public hospital in a non-English speaking country. He truly went way above and beyond and we were so fortunate to have had him as our guide. Oguz is Amazing!

We did a six hour tour with Oguz and he is excellent. Very knowledgeable and patient and friendly. He took us to all the main sights in Istanbul including a boat trip to the Asian side where we had a great lunch. I highly recommend him!Ogus is great
