Hi there! Nice to meet you

Oluf

Scotland is the most remarkable place in the world, and I am so proud to call it my home.

I moved to Edinburgh from Hong Kong in 1997 and have called it home ever since. For most of my working life, I have looked after visitors to Scotland through my work as a Concierge in various hotels in Edinburgh, including The Balmoral Hotel. In my spare time, I have appeared as an Extra in numerous movies and TV shows such as Outlander, Outlaw King and Rebus.

I am passionate about Scotland’s story, and I want to share that with the world. Whether it be the tales of Heroic warriors fighting for their freedom, to enlightened religious reformers, tragic tales of Kings and Queens, I am the man to talk too!

I offer walking tours around Edinburgh whereby I will show guests the most interesting places. I enjoy showing people around and I am on hand to ask any questions. I also offer driving tours for up to 4 people to the Highlands, Stirling and the central belt where I can show visitors William Wallace’s finest victories, defeats and the much earlier frontier of The Roman Empire. I also offer day tours to Hadrians Wall or a day of Munro Bagging.
