Let me introduce to you: my name is Omar Aziz

...yes not a typical Italian name, true, that's because I'M HALF ITALIAN  and ..HALF EGYPTIAN

The country of the Pyramids! Have you been?

Something not so usual here in Italy!

Due to my double origins, since I was a child I felt the luck of having so many centuries of history behind family roots. The Sphinx, the Colosseum, Mummies, hieroglyphs, Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Pizza, Italian Wines, Renaissance, the Red sea, Botticelli...and probably this is the other reason why I always loved art, history and cultures and I became one of the youngest tour guides of Florence.. I was 21!

So... at the end, we could say I'm really florentine... perhaps 100% Italian and 50% egyptian? or simply...a citizen of the world

I am passionate about traveling and discovering the tiny and big wonders of life. Painting, Music, Sculpture, Theatre, Music are my real life passions. This is why I love to get with my clients along the beautiful characteristic florence narrow road and talk about intriguing stories while admiring hidden street artworks, go inside artisans laboratories, bakeries, kitchens carpenters and talk directly to the artists and share our thoughts, questions and curiosities to EXPERIENCE UNIQUE MOMENTS of smiles and laugh and fun hard to forget.

There is so much I'd like to show to you and I wish you would love to EXPLORE Milan with me - as an authentic and  friendly local - and discover the amazing masterpieces of Florence and all the increadible artworks of our Culture!

We had an absolutely fantastic guided tour with Omar in Milan. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history and culture, providing us with insights that truly enriched our experience. Had the absolute pleasure of getting shown some of Milan’s highlights by our incredible guide Omar. Omar was funny, passionate, and remarkable knowledgeable on all things Milan and Italy. Our tour was transferred to Omar from another guide. He was a nice guy but it felt a bit unstructured like he was just going through the motions. We didn’t go to Santo Spirito Church or have an antipasto tasting as described. A couple of places he wanted to show us had long lines so we didn’t go in. With a bit of planning maybe we could have booked skip the line tickets. Informative

Omar made my family's visit to Florence very special informing the first time members of my group of the cities origins while providing a new experience for myself who has lived in and spent a lot of time in the city. Omar was a wonderful guide. His explanation of his neighborhood was truly a tour of his life and experiences. He immersed us in his day to day, introducing us to several artisans at a beautiful mosaics shop, showed us how to drink cafe, we shopped at a local market and introduced us to a local live theater manager. Omar was charming and engaging! If we are lucky enough to come back we would love to choose another of his tours.Wonderful time

Omar was a great tour guide! 10/10 recommend to anyone interested in learning all about Florence and it’s history. Every nook and cranny of this city has history to share and Omar knows it all :) we are also learning italian and Omar was patient enough to give us the whole tour in italian for all those interested in that. Fun and great thing to do on first day of trip.Super interesting view into Florence!

Such a fascinating tour of the Saint’ ambrogio area in Florence. A real insight into a local area with a very local (he was born and raised there) but worldly and very charming guide. A mix of trying local delicacies and seeing the sights big and small. We got a great feel for daily life in this part of Florence and into Italian food and family culture. Perfect contrast to our visits to the more well known sights. Plus some great recommendations for restaurants. And a truly amazing visit to a mosaics workshop with artisans hard at work on incredible masterpieces. Thank you Omar. 100% Recommend Omar & this tour!

We (a family of four, including 14 and 10 year old boys) enjoyed a wonderful morning with Omar, learning about so many interesting aspects of Italian daily life and Sant’Ambrogio in particular. We regret that we forgot to take a picture with Omar because he was so incredibly warm, friendly, and interesting! We were treated to many different experiences but especially appreciated trying delicious local pastries, getting to spend time in an artisan workshop for mosaics (amazing to see the process!) and seeing a local dinner theater with deep ties to the community. Omar was talented at weaving interesting facts and personal stories into the different sites on the tour (his elementary school is absolutely beautiful!) and made our first morning in Florence a memorable and personalized experience. Grazie, Omar!!! Wonderful tour with Omar!
