Omar could not make our booking and sent Rachid instead. Unfortunately Rachid’s driving was not relaxing at all as he felt the need to drive right up to the back of every car in front of us, and overtake when questionable space. The walk and lunch in the mountains with Omar the guide was excellent and so we thoroughly enjoyed being in the Atlas Mountains. I would recommend the trip but cannot comment on Omar. A perfect day. Omar is a superb guide and a lovely, sweet guy. We had great communications before the day, with Omar always responding to our questions quickly and fully. He even checked what sort of activities/experiences we would most want included in our day (and he fully accepted our request for no shopping!)....and if we had any food requirements. He picked us up at the hotel spot on time, explained the day he'd planned including timings and then off we went in his very comfortable car. We stopped at some lovely villages, viewpoints etc until hooking up with his colleague (another Omar) who would guide us on our walk. Fabulous walk, just the three of us mountain paths, eventually arriving at the large, impressive waterfalls. (There were a lot of people at the falls who had walked along the main, tourist thoroughfare in large groups). We enjoyed the waterfalls but were pleased when Omar took us back to the quiet paths on to a Berber House for lunch. This was a fabulous spot, traditional house with amazing views from the terrace where we ate....and what an awesome meal!!! Then we opted to continue walking for around another half hour. Omar the walking guide was included in the tour cost but we did of course tip him..... such a lovely guy! Then the drive back to the hotel stopping occasionally at viewpoints, villages etc. A truly wonderful day made prefect by Omar.....amd Omar! We would score this 11 hearts if possible!Superb day with Omar

Omar is een rustige jongen die de tijd voor je neemt en luistert naar de wensen die je hebt. Afwijken in het programma van wat hij in zijn hoofd heeft is daarom ook mogelijk, uiteraard binnen de tijdspanne die men heeft. Tijdens deze trip werkte Omar samen met iemand (ben even de naam vergeten) maar ook die was top! Kortom een aanrader om te boeken.Top

Omar gave us an unforgettable experience on our private trip to the Atlas Mountains. He ensured a smooth and safe journey in a private van and his friend (another Omar) guided us on a scenic hike, followed by a lovely meal with views of the snowy peaks. We also visited a Berber market, rode camels at sunset, and enjoyed a luxury desert dinner he helped arrange. Omar even went the extra mile to organise a birthday cake for my parents birthday upon request, which we truly appreciated. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made this a memorable adventure. Highly recommended!

We booked a trip to the Atlas mountains with Omar and it was one of the best experiences of our week in Marrakech. Omar speaks great English, has a lot of knowlegede of the region and is a real foodie which led us to an amazing restaurant in the mountains which was another highlight. We will be back one day and will certainly book another trip with Omar. Highly recommended!Fantastic guide!

Out trip with Omar was the highlight of our visit to Marrakech Omar collected us and we went straight to the Ourika valley and met our guide who hiked us up to see the waterfalls . He was also excellent and explained all about the area and his way of life there . We then had lunch by the river before a visit to a traditional Berber house with Omar and then a trip to the locals weekly market Omar was very informative and great company , we had a brilliant day ☺️Outstanding

The trip to the Atlas Mountains and Berber village with Omar was one of those few days we will never forget as a family (kids are 18 and 16). Omar picked us up at our hotel and first took us to a Berber market, which is an experience in itself. Next, we were welcomed into an Imazighen home where we had mint tea and snacks and got a brief view of life in the village. From there we met another guide who took us on a one hour hike in the mountains. We are not mountain climbers and we did not find the hike to be a strain, so I think it should be fine for most folks if you are reasonably in shape. Just be sure to wear hiking shoes or at least good sneakers. It can be slippery. The views were AMAZING and the cool air in the hills was a welcome relief. I have a healthy fear of heights, but I was only truly anxious at one area of the climb. The guide was slightly more agile on the rocks than a mountain goat, so he made it much easier by showing us the best paths to take. We then had lunch at a local restaurant along the river, which was very scenic. On the way back to Marrakech we stopped at a few spots to take photos from the mountains; the drive is breathtaking (from the views and from the terror of the sheer cliffs on the side of the road). Omar speaks excellent English, is extremely courteous, and was happy to answer all of our many questions. If you can only do one tour in Morocco, do this one. 11 out of 10. Best day of our trip

We hebben een fijne dag gehad naar Aït-Ben-Haddou met Omar. Omdat het een privé trip is, kun je zelf tijd indelen. Maar tips van Omar waren hartstikke leuk en hele dag super georganiseerd. Ook net wat anders dan de standaard trips. Leuke andere route en Interessante toelichting. Al met al een top dag. Fantastische dag gehad met Omar

I went on a 3-day trip to the Atlas mountains with my mom and sister - we went through Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Skoura, vallées des roses, Gorges du Dades, and Imlil, and it was absolutely fantastic! A very memorable trip. Omar organized everything so well and was very communicative and helpful, despite some challenges at the beginning (last minute planning from our end + floods in Marrakech due to the heavy rains, so we had delays). I would 100% recommend Omar as your guide to visit Morocco !Amazing Experience with a Great Guide
