Jomreab Sue (Hello) lady and gentleman, my name is Oun Lis.

I grew up in a small remote village about 20km far from Siem Reap center.

I am an official tourist guide and professional photographer. I have been working as a licensed guide and photographer since 2014 and have had many experiences running photography tours and historical tours and also worked in the tourism industry.

My educational background, I graduated high school in 2013. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in 2017 in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). In the meantime, I have completed the Tourist Guide Training Course by the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia.

Previously, I used to work as a full-time English teacher. I shared my English education with young kids and young adult learners. I so love playing with the kids and teaching them.

Present-day, I am an official guide and professional photographer in the Siem Reap region. I love my job as a tourist guide because I can share my experiences with different people, exchange knowledge, and make a lot of new friends. Anyway, it's a part to improve my English speaking skills and support my living. I am specialized in historical tours and photography tours. And I am also flexible, very helpful, outstanding, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about my country.

We had a great time with Oun. He is full of information and shared lots of knowledge about the three temples we visited. We were very satisfied as we learned lots. Oun has great English and is fun to be with. The 6 hour day flew by. The tuk tuk driver was great, he drove safely and was ready with cold water and towels after each temple to help us cool down between journeys. Overall, if you are interested in learning about Angkor Wat, the other temples, cambodias history and culture, this is an easy choice. Great Day

Oun was a fantastic guide who ensured that we had a great day at the 3 big temples in Siem Reap. He was knowledgeable and informative throughout the day, despite starting at 5am. Our guide, Oun insisted that we rise early to get to Angkor Wat for sunrise. We’re so glad we did. This is a magical place with an unbelievable story to tell. Our guide was knowledgeable and willing to tailor the tour to our needs. Awesome day with a great guide!

Oun was fantastic as our guide through Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and several other temples. It was extremely hot, my kids (10 and 12) were tired and hot, but he made it interesting and hit the highlights for us. He’s also a great photographer and took some beautiful pictures of us to remember our time there. His restaurant recommendations in town were delicious! Great guide, friendly and knowledgeable

We had Oun for 2 days. He’s a a great guide with excellent command of all the history surrounding Angkor What, Ta Prohm and the various temples in Angkor Thom We appreciated how he tailored the tour to our needs. We had an unforgettable sunrise private tour of Angkor Wat with our guide, Oun, on March 28, 2025. Right from the start, Oun set the tone for an incredible day, taking us by tuk-tuk to the perfect sunrise spot where the temple’s reflection glowed in the pond—a breathtaking photo moment. His deep knowledge of Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples was remarkable, weaving together the history and significance of each site in a way that truly brought them to life. Oun’s enthusiasm shone through in everything he did. He expertly scheduled our visits to the surrounding temples, timing them to avoid the crowds, which made the experience feel so much more personal and relaxed. Zipping between sites in the tuk-tuk was a fun adventure in itself! He also took some phenomenal photos of us with his camera, preserving memories we’ll treasure forever. As a bonus, Oun introduced us to the quirky local treat of eating ants—a bold and memorable twist. With his friendly energy and thoughtful planning, Oun made this tour exceptional. Oun toured Angkor Wat, Baphuon, Ta Prohm and two lesser known temples in Angkor Thom with us. He was thoughtful and tailored the content well for my wife and me, as well as for our two girls. The logistics worked perfectly too. We visited in a tuk tuk that had been specially built and driven by his brother. Overall, a first-class experience and would highly recommend to other travelers. Going without another group meant we could adjust the pace according to everyone’s interest levels which was a big plus. Oun grew up in the area, and his dad worked as a security guard at one of the Angkor Thom temples. Very good English too. Great energy, knowledge and English

We had a full day of learning with Oun. He arrived early to meet us at our Hotel. He was knowledgeable about the history of Angkor and Cambodia. He answered all of our questions and we learned a lot of history about the area from him. He had plenty of cold water and towels for us as the day was HOT! We would recommend him to anyone interested in visiting Angkor Wat! Fantastic Angkor Wat Tour
