I am a 53 Roman woman who lives in Monti neighbourhood in a 300 years old house and I am superhost on airbnb. I am easygoing enthusiastic. I live i and knows the best places to eat Roman food and the nice corners where only few tourists go. During lockdown. I have walked Rome alone miles mules and found nwew special spots and secret corners so I can not wai to show them to the new tourists that I will mI drive a vespa everywhere and i have worked many years in 4 and 5 star hotels as sales manager . I have 2 teenager children .

For Solo travellers I am happy to do the tour on my vespa (If desired ) and make you feel the emotion of an amazing and unique experience. We can see so many places in a short time and beautiful views. A little contributio for fuel is required

Our tour with Paola was like a relaxed stroll with an old friend. As we wandered & chatted through Monti (the Suburra in Ancient Rome), Paola pointed out interesting sites, streetscapes off the tourist tracks, as well as highlighting Rome’s ancient, medieval, renaissance & modern history. As it’s a jubilee year, we visited Santa Maria Maggiore’s holy door & then to Regoli’s pasticceria to sample the seasonal (& delicious ) beignet di San Giuseppe. The morning free by, we loved every moment, and can’t recommend Paola highly enough. A perfect Roman morning

Our first goal in a new city is to find a great guide to introduce us to their home. We were fortunate to have found Paola, born and raised in Rome. It was a somewhat trying weather day, but no one minded. Down narrow streets, through churches and over bridges we were shown the neighborhoods and historical sites that opened up Rome to us. Paula had prepared for our culinary tour very well; she took us to interesting and high quality places. She packed a lot into our two hours: different kinds of food and drinks and we moved swiftly between places. She also included a lot of interesting cultural and especially architectural detail. She had clearly planned our two hours carefully in response to our requests and interests. She was a pleasure to be with and gave us a very enjoyable and useful experience. For the price/value rating, I am aware that the platform adds a very large percentage to the fee which the guide receives, hence the evening is quite expensive. It was definitely useful and enjoyable for us though. Paula is thoroughly professional while being very friendly and easy to relate to.Friendly and very knowledgeable guide
