Hello, I'm Paula!

Having a Portuguese father, a French mother, a 5 years experience living in Italy, 2 full immersions courses in England, my environment is international.

I speak foreign languages and I'm in touch with foreign people since my childhood.

Consequently I took a first degree in International Relations and then a degree in Tourism Information specializing in Tour Guiding in 2003. Since then I've been working as a professional tourist guide always willing to learn more and to meet new people. My purpose has always been to be an ambassador of the Portuguese edified, cultural and natural heritage I'm so fond of.

To that I add my passion for wine, specially the Portuguese ones! I'm a certified sommelier and I'm postgraduated in Wine Tourism. I love to organize wine & food tastings and sensory experiences. On each bottle there is a storytelling that I'm proud to share with guests. Drinking is quenching thirst, tasting wine is culture! You don't drink alcohol? Not a problem, there are plenty of delicacies to be tasted :-)

I'm also a trainer. I teach Winemaking, Food and Wine Pairing, Tourist Products and Services, etc. Yes I love to share my knowledge. I believe that alone we go faster but together we go further.

My tours are designed to be professional, customized, safe, easy, simple, fun. At the end guests feel happy, satisfied, enriched, taken care.

I prefer quality tours over quantity. Therefore few reviews but glowing. Less is more :-)

I pay special attention to the personal relationship. All my tours are customized and adaptable anytime with a special touch of mine.

We had a 3 hour experience all about the wines of Portugal. Paula told us the history of Portugal and the history of the wines as well. Her knowledge of wines is unbelievable and we also experienced the differences of wine with cheese and meat. We could ask her anything and she took the time to explain everything. Next time we will certainly book her again for more! Great wine experience!

Paula took us on a walking tour of Belém and the Maritime Expansion and provided a detailed and vivid view of the history in this area. She covered both the architecture and people. She was friendly and accommodating. She trains other guides and you can see why - she is a great tour guide. A Guide Worthy of Vasco de Gama

My wife and I visited Lisbon for a short period of time. We wanted to have an experience that gave us a great feel for the city with a focus on food and wine. Paula spent more than three hours with our travelling party of four. A walking tour in the city of Lisbon, she shared great insights into the city. Her knowledge and celebration of Portugal's history is highly impressive. A trained sommelier, she completed our time together with a wine and food tasting at a wine cellar in Lisbon- something we all enjoyed enormously. We wholeheartedly recommend Paula and our tour with her is one of our highlights of a week's holiday in Lisbon.Outstanding

We had a very enjoyable tour of Lisbon with Paula learning of the history of Lisbon and Portugal and enjoying the sights. Paula was very helpful providing us background to Portuguese culture and individual locations and monuments in Lisbon. She excelled at her specialty in Portuguese wine and we really enjoyed our tasting of local wines. Paula obviously knows lots and lots about Lisbon and it's history which came through in the tour. None of us had done a pairing before and everyone really enjoyed it. Paula again had limitless knowledge about wine and we all learnt a lot. Most importantly is was really fun. Fantastic Experience
