Meeting up with Paulette was easy. I’m so glad we did this tour with her on our first full day in Montmartre. She encouraged me to spend time exploring angles and focus with my iPhone and entertained my artist, not photographer, husband at the same time. We learned about the area. We timed the walk such that we were able to take photos in three different lights which was great fun. Day, golden hour and night. I would have liked a bit more direction back to our starting point before she left us in front of Moulin Rouge.

Paulette is very friendly and competent. She initiated us into the depths of photography. She did this at our level. We were able to improve immediately and put into practice what we had learned. I spent a couple of days in Paris on my own before meeting my family and whilst looking through some activities I was particularly drawn to this experience due to my love for photography. I’m only a beginner but wanted to combine learning some more techniques with seeing some of the gorgeous areas of the city. Paulette was such a lovely host - we met in a lonely coffee shop on Montmartre and went though some of the basics and areas of focus and then spent the rest of morning taking pictures around Montmartre. She is super knowledgeable on Paris history and so I learnt a bit as we went along. I would totally recommend this experience to anyone who wants to make if their photography when in Paris. We are photography novices. We didn’t know our f stops from our ISOs... and let’s not talk about white balance. Within and hour Paulette had guided us through the technical stuff so we could get the the creative side. Then Paulette showed us how to look at beautiful Montmartre scenes in a different and interesting way. Her skills are incredible. I’m so glad we were lucky enough to spend a great morning with the charming and knowledgeable Paulette.Wow... Paulette is amazing

In all fairness to Paulette, she was under the weather and probably should have rescheduled our time with her. She had a bad cold and I think it was hard touring us around and certainly our photo lessons would have been better. Paulette was very nice and did bring us a small journal for our travels. We thought that was a lovely gift! Paulette took us to some beautiful places and we did get some nice pics. We hope Paulette is feeling better!Nice visit to Montmartre
