Hello, my name is Pavo. I was born and raised in Dubrovnik, but last couple of years I' have been studying in Zagreb, but always getting back home in the summer, since the summer time always was the best time of year for me. While I was away from Dubrovnik, I realised how much I love my hometown and I decided to become a guide, so I can tell the rich and interesting story of Dubrovnik to all the people who are coming to.

Pavo cancelled the night before our tour. He arranged for Ramona to be our guide. She was fabulous! Only complaint was we were not given the local treat.Cancelled last minute

We had a really lovely City Tour. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and took the tour at our pace....which was really appreciated, as it was such a hot and humid day. We learned a lot about the old City and it's history. We were given insights and recommendations which will be really useful. We visited an old building/Palace and met the family and tried some traditional drinks...one made of roses, one of walnuts and one of Cacao. This was a private tour and worth every penny. We would thoroughly recommend With Locals and are eagerly anticipating our next With Locals experience on Monday!Excellent City Tour

I booked a tour with Pavo, and communicated with him the morning of via the app. He never told me that someone else was doing the tour. He farmed our tour out to a woman named Bozi and she was excellent. Bozi knew a lot of the history and took us all through the old city. She gave us recommendations on where to eat, directions to get to some beaches, and being a native of Dubrovnik, you could tell she loved her city and that came through as she talked about it. I gave it a nine instead of a 10 because I realized afterwards that a drink or snack was supposed to be included and it wasn’t. We highly recommend Bozi if you can book with her directly, or if you can ask Pavo to send her.Wasn’t Pavo But great tour.

Pavo was a friendly and enthusiastic guide. His knowledge of Croatian history was incredible. Pavo tailored the tour to our interests and needs which was very appreciated. We were very happy to have him as our guide.

We so enjoyed our walk around the old city with Pavo. It was fascinating to hear about the history of Dubrovnik and to learn about life for locals in the city today. Pavo was a charming well informed and lively guide.A fascinating walk with a charming guide!

We had a private tour with Pavo and it was value for money. Pavo knows the city and it’s history very well. He guided us through the city without getting caught up in the crowds. First time using Withlocals and was a bit skeptical but after this tour, I will definitely use again! Pavo actually was sick and couldn’t do the tour, but very professional and messaged me in advance with a backup plan and tour guide. She did great and showed our large group all we wanted to know and more. Cool Little tips, locations, hidden gems and history. It was nice to hear how much pride she had in her home. Will do again! Great time, great tour.

Walking the streets of Old City with someone who grew up in Dubrovnik is the best way not only to see off-the-beaten path highlights, but also so you know what to do when your tour is over. Like where to buy the BEST ice cream (Dubrovnik’s where the proprietor realizing we didn’t have cash allowed us to keep the cones and return later to pay him) and a superb tucked away dinner spot and the best walking beach. Stories only a local could know made national holiday celebrations come to life. Our time was peppered by rain, but our guide was prepared and we were not deterred. In fact, it was probably more fun because it gave our guide more opportunities to tell the stories that make Dubrovnic the special city it is. Best way to begin your stay in Dubrovnik
